      We had continual issues with a custom-order camper. The issues included the camper body giving us an electrical shock when plugged in, a fire due to faulty wiring the second night in the unit, profuse leaking from multiple places, a broken kitchen faucet, and a battery that was never good from day one. The list could actually go on, but I condensed it. The point is that Cheyenne not only did nothing to assist us but also told us on multiple occasions that we were not allowed to contact the manufacturer directly. We were told we could only work with Cheyenne to resolve the issues. Then, they did nothing to actually resolve them. Nothing. We brought the camper to them once. They returned it with the exact same issues and more. They also told us that anything they found that they didn't find to be under warranty, we would be charged for. Out of frustration with the lemon that I invested in, I filed a complaint with Forest River, frustrated that I was told on multiple occasions that I wasn't allowed to talk to them myself. It was at that time that Forest River immediately responded to me about the issues I had continually been having. Not only did they respond, but they took my camper to headquarters, did a complete inspection, and repaired everything that I had ever had an issue with. They even repaired things that I didn't include on the list. It was amazing, and the customer service was above and beyond. This concludes then that the issue was Cheyenne Camping Center and its incompetent, unhelpful, and uncaring staff that lacked ethics. They knew of the issues, did not resolve them, and did not care enough to ensure our unit was safe and free of defects. They lied about being able to contact the manufacturer and refused to provide us with any contact information.

      Firstly, were sorry for the issues youve experienced with your new RV. We perform an extensive prep process on every RV we sell. We specifically look for any manufacturing defects and check functionality of all systems. Unfortunately, there can be issues that are not apparent during prep, or present at a later time. The electrical issue the customer experienced is such an example. The power cord was routed incorrectly at the factory, it was being pinched between the frame and the body. Thats something we wouldnt have found during prep as it was in the enclosed area of the underbelly. Over time, this caused a short. Once the issue was known to us, we properly repaired the wiring. All issues we could diagnose and duplicate, were repaired by Cheyenne Camping Center. The shower surround developed a leak and we resealed, then subsequently removed, resealed, and reinstalled the surround to ensure a proper seal. The defective kitchen faucet was replaced. We charged and load tested the battery, which tested good. We also confirmed the power converter and 7 pin wiring connector were functioning properly. We could not duplicate the customer issues with the charging system, slide-out and roof vent leak while in our shop. We werent trying to imply that the customer couldnt contact the manufacturer directly, rather that we need to address the issues first. The manufacturer requires dealers to make all efforts to repair before stepping in. More importantly, we feel its our obligation as a dealer to service our customers! We did address several issues that were out of warranty at no charge, including removing and resealing the shower surround, trouble shooting the battery and charging system and fixing a cabinet door. Unfortunately, some issues appeared to be intermittent and couldnt be duplicated while in our shop. The customer did schedule another service appointment, but unfortunately didnt show up. They then contacted Forest River for a resolution. Forest River did an outstanding job as always. We pride ourselves on our service after the sale, and always do everything within our power to resolve any issues to the customers satisfaction. Again, were sorry for the inconvenience and frustration of this experience.

      I have bought two truck campers from them and very good experience with both I'm from St Louis and drove up there to prices were good their service was good and their word was good
