I hired *** to install a central heating and air conditioning unit, with duct work in the spring of last year (2022)at my home. He came out gave me an estimate of 7000$. I agree with the price. He said it would take **** to install. He came out with his crew on a Monday and was done by Wednesday. I paid him 6500$. Because he said he could not hook up the gas line until aliant energy came out and installed a meter. So he would only charge me the 6600$ until he hooked up the gas line to the furnace. I said that was fine. Once the summer months came and it was time to run the air conditioning I noticed that some of the rooms vents were not putting out as much as some of the other rooms. I called *** and he came out and adjusted something on the furnace hoping that would make more air pressure to cool off the rooms where the air flow was not adequate. Thats did work or help the situation so he come back out and installed more vents in the rooms with the low air flow. That did not fix or help the situation. By this time it had gotten to the end of the season so we decided to wait to have him come back out to try to resolve the problem this summer 2023. Because the house was cooling off naturally because of the changing of the season. He said that it need to be warmer so he could find out whats was going on with the unit. We contacted him two weeks ago and he said he would come out and fix the issue (******). But he never came out and we havent heard from him since.

I will accept the offer to allow him to finish/fix the job.  His statement about the timeline is off.  3 months ago would have been around March, it was still cold around that time. Didnt start using the a/c unit until around the middle of May.  I called him and he said he would come out that Saturday, he is correct I did have to cancel that day.  He agreed to come that following Saturday.   I called him that Friday and he said he was still coming Saturday.  He said he would be there in the morning so I waited until around 11am. To see was he still coming and what time.  He said he was making service calls and would be there in the afternoon after he was done.  The afternoon came and went and he never showed up or call to tell me he wasnt.  I waited till Monday to call him figuring he was done for the weekend.  Monday came  I attempted to reach out to him several time with no response.  Tuesday-Saturday I called and left messages he never responded.   I waited the following week thinking he might have been sick or something to contact him as again no response.  That when I figured he had no intention of resolving this issue. Cause he was always good about answering his phone or calling back at his earliest convenience.

      Sincerely,

      **********************

on 1/17/2022 my banker at *****************************************. issued **** Oliver a check for $6955.00 for a furnace and central air unit to be installed by Oliver heating and air. The furnace was not properly installed, it was plugged in with an extension cord and the air return to the furnace was never hooked up at all they broke out a basement window to put pvc pipe out it for no reason. I went through $1000.00 worth of propane in 2 months and the house never got over 50 degrees. they said that they would come back and finish it and bring my central air unit. they never came back and i called many time they never answered. I left a message to come and remove the furnace and give me my money back. he finnally called me back and told me he would come look at it, when he got there I told him to remove the furnace. I asked him where the central air conditioning unit was and he told me that one of his employees had stolen it! I told him then again i want my money back. he removed it and suggested a heat pump instead i said ok, he said he would let me know in a couple of days to come put it in. that was 4 weeks ago now! so sick of waiting without a responce i called again wanting my money back he finally answered and told me that he ordered it 3 days prior to my call. I again told him I want my money back!! he said he would get back to me. that was 2 weeks ago !!! now I have nothing, no heat or air no recipt or information on the units i asked many times for that information but got nothing!

**** installed a new furnace and air conditioner for me on September 20, 2021. I paid him $4,600 in cash. He new it was for an insurance claim and has not given me the paperwork or receipts needed to make my claim. Ive asked politely numerous times through texts, and phone calls. Ive had my insurance company even call him to ask for the receipt. Ive offered to meet him to pick it up. Ive offered for him to mail it or just even send me a picture of it through a text message. Still nothing. He will occasionally respond to a message and act like he is going to get it done but he never does.
