I initially brought my 2008 For F250 to the shop because of a power loss while pulling my trailer. The shop kept my truck for a week and stated the air filter was clogged and that was the issue to my power loss the code was over $1000. Some time later less than a year the engine light turned on and I returned. They state the egr sensor is bad and they replace it at over $2000. Less than a week later my truck loss of power again as Im going up a hill not even towing. I return and they keep my truck for four days and say they dont know what is causing the problems. They charged me many dollars. Stating the truck was fixed and it still has problems. I asked for a refund of the issues they states was the cause of the power loss and they refused. I understand about the other maintenance issues they corrected and am content paying for those. But the remainder and the issue of the truck doing or not doing what they said was corrected but still was not is very unsatisfactory.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:I believe the business charged me for parts that did not need to be replaced stating the air filter originally and then the *** sensor. The business charged me a great amount of money and over charged me for parts they claim is the amount they paid for them. I have found the same so called ***************** at different stores and Amazon for a much reduced and almost half price.
I agree some of the work done on the truck was for preventative and just worn out parts of the truck like the glow plugs and other preventative maintenance but when the mechanic says it is working correctly and it does not the first time I hook it up to my trailer. Something is wrong and needs to be fixed.
