I had high hopes when Disaster cleanup hired Nampa Floors & Interiors to complete my floor, counter top, floors(lvl) and back splash renovation, but the result was a letdown. The project started with an unexpected charge for underpayment, and a failed inspection showed that the underlayment was missing, a critical mistake. The floor doesn't meet industry standards, with evident dips and hollow spaces, voiding the warranty. The counter tops were installed with damaged Formica, and the backsplash was poorly executed, with large gaps and tiles covering an outlet. I incurred additional expenses to reschedule the electrician and seek help from other subs to rectify the situation. Although ***** ******** was supportive initially, her lack of response when issues arose was disappointing. I share my experience to inspire others to approach similar projects with caution and attention to detail.Furthermore, instead of rectifying the obvious subpar installation of the counter tops, backsplash and floors. **** the store Manager of the *********** Location made excuses for the poorly executed installation, and poor craftsmanship. Where he should held them accountable. Instead of correcting the problems, I recieved a resignation letter form Nampa floors. They stated that the project would not be completed, and voiding any and all ************* home is currently incomplete. We wash dishes out of the bathroom sink. My counter tops are a mess. parts are missing Formica., missing baseboards, missing vent registers. At this point it is cost more to have their work corrected. I received no compensation or reimbursement from Nampa Floors & Interiors. I have asked for the project to be competed to no avail. As a result, I filed a lien on the business on 9/5/2024, In ***** to be taken seriously, and have my home remodel completed.Review from Eric F

I will note up front that I did not pick this vendor, they were chosen by the builder **** Brothers as part of a new build, so there may be a different department of the business that addresses private parties. That said I will never engage in private business with them. Overall their craftsmanship and support are beyond poor. Below I listed several issues, if I were to give a full account of my interactions with them this review it would end up several pages long.1)Carpet was poorly tacked at almost all walls.2)At least one floor tile had a quarter size chunk missing. Their solution was to fill it with putty.3)EVP floorboards are separating a several locations.4)Remaining materials were removed, leaving me nothing in the event a repair was needed,5)Tile completed in the master shower has several jagged cuts.6)Several other tiles in the master shower were installed in such a way that they cracked due to stress. Their attempts to repair this, under warranty, where poor, took several months and had to be redone at least 3 times. I finally decided not to purse further repairs with them when it became apparent they were causing more harm then good. There was also continual resistance to make these repairs, with them pushing that I should except the poor results. I would say this item was by far the worst to address as they would not accept the fact that failure of their workmanship was not a problem that I should have to live with.7)They had very poor communication. They rarely returned correspondence and often tradesman would arrive uncertain of what needed to be repaired or they change how the repair would be performed without informing me.In the end I was left with a cracked tile in my master shower and several other items that I will be left to fix as it is not worth my time or well being to engage any further with them.Nampa Floors & Interiors, Inc. Nampa Floors and Interiors (NFI) has a contract with the home builder, **** Brothers of ***** (TB) to supply and install floor covering in new construction homes throughout the Treasure Valley. That contract is between NFI and the home builder TB stipulates what products are to be installed, how they are to be installed, and when they are to be installed. After which, per our contract with the home builder TB, NFI is required to fulfill service order requests through TB for a period of one year after the house closes. NFI does NOT have a contract with the buyer of any TB house and as such NFI must follow the direction of our client, the home builder, **** Brothers of *****. Nampa Floors started work in the new home located at ****************** in Nampa on 06.15.2021 and completed our work on schedule on or around 08.13.2021. During the one-year warranty period (starting 08.13.2021) NFI received a total of three service orders for the property at ****************** in Nampa. Due to the nature of a new construction environment service order requests are often to fix damaged flooring caused by other trades during the building process of a new home. The first service order was dated 05.05.2022 and stated: the is a floorboard in our laundry room that is sliding and has a gap. NFI inspected the concern on 05.31.2022 and found a minor separation of one of flooring pieces. NFI then sent an installer on 06.09.2022 to easily perform the repair. The homeowner signed that the work was completed, and no further issue was reported regarding this service order. The second service order requested was also dated 05.05.2022 and stated: There is a tile in the master shower that has developed a crack. Our records show that assessment of this issue was done on 06.01.2022. Upon inspection it was discovered that a hairline crack had developed in the field cut **shaped edge of a tile around a shower niche (a minute sliver of tile due to design layout). It was explained that due to the nature of the material and the location of the crack in the shower, based on the design, that the **shaped cut should be replaced by two pieces which in turn would create a minor additional grout joint of 1/8 x . This plan to replace the cracked tile, was devised to specifically to avoid future hair line cracks in the same location. The actual repair was scheduled 08.18.2022 and then rescheduled for 09.16.2022. The repair was completed, and the service order was signed by the homeowner. The third service order request was dated 11.09.2022 and stated: Look into replacing the tile at the bottom of the shower niche which is the same tile that we previously repaired. NFI was asked by a **** Brothers representative if we could please make one more adjustment to the repair that was previously completed. NFI voiced our concerns to the **** Brothers representative regarding the successfulness of what was being asked, however due to our longstanding relationship, NFI did reluctantly proceed with attempted repair. This was done on 01.11.2023. The homeowner responded on 01.12.2023 noting that the tile looks good but did have concerns about the grout repair that was done as it did not match the rest of the shower. We then made one more trip on 01.25.2023 and replaced the grout in an attempt for a better match to the rest of the shower. This was successful. There no further service order requests from the home builder, **** Brothers of *****, for this property.
