Was approached by an aggressive drugged-out sales rep named *****. He was rude, pushy, and scary. Should do background checks on your personnel. This guy was not okay.

Issues with installing. Worker damage ceiling. They make appointments to fix do not show. ***** later finally patched. Go through same issue trying to get painted . I have had the threaten court filing to get it painted. Now another appointment and they are not here. I think once they get project sign off by inspectors you are not valued customer any more. They installed my system last August. Great customer service, great install team. I would recommend them. The negative reviews below seem to have more to do with the electric company than it does with what systems they installed.Review from JaLisa B

We had our solar panels installed by big dog solar and have had so many problems with our system. We stopped generating energy in July, which is supposed to be one of the highest producing months. We have called multiple times and sent messages with no return. Our system is not hooked up and not working. It's an expensive system and it's infuriating that it isn't working and we can't get a hold of Big Dog to troubleshoot the issue. And this has gone in for 6 months now!! I do NOT recommend Big Dog solar for solar panel installs.Review from Susan J

Very Sad install went fine, inspected July 11 2022 and then a month later after we called them did they finally submit to Xcel a request for a meter change.Xcel then tells me it will be another 2 to3 weeks for them to change out the meter so that I can benefit from the solar thats sat on my house for two months. ******* never ever responded to any emails after her initial job was done. they dropped the ball and just letting you know there customer service sucks!Big Dog Solar Response

Dear *********************, We are happy to hear that your install from Big Dog Solar went well!. We offer an apology that your project was delayed at the time things were turned over to Xcel Energy to finalize your meter swap. Xcel had let us know that they made some changes to their website during that time as well and unfortunately caused some internal delays. This was to no fault of our company or our employees and we did exhaust every effort to keep the ball rolling on their behalf until we found a resolution. If you are referencing the customer service at Big Dog, please give us an opportunity to make things right by contacting our office at ************ and requesting to speak with our **************** Manager. If you are referencing the customer service at Xcel, please leave your rating with them recognizing that we are 2 separate and independent companies. Thank you for the honest feedback.
