Purchased a membership in May 2023 for monthly charge unlimited tanning tanning services. July 2023 I returned to to Slick Rock tanning business located in ************************** before the 25th of the month billing cycle and requested to front desk staff the cancel my membership at that time. With the consolidated audit on my personal credit card with my credit union there was charges on my credit card from July 2023 to March 2024 for $99.00 plus tax of unauthorized charges from Slicjk Rock LLC.. with review membership agreement I did personal cancel my membership in July 2023. I am seeking refund for charges of unauthorized chargers by Slick Rock LLC.Initial Complaint

In an attempt to cancel a subscription with this business, slick rock, we have been pushed around to now 3 points of contact ill informed on their cancellation policies and a severe lack of customer service.The amount of my subscription is $59. *** lost my job and now have no way of using this subscription. I called before my subscription renewal date to cancel, and they then informed me that their policy is that I wouldve had to not just call, but walk into their store to cancel nearly a week before my renewal date. I went in and had to sign for cancellation, I then asked if I could be refunded for the month I wont be using and was re-directed once again to another point of contact. At this point they declined my request, so I asked if I could re-allocate this months subscription to another month as I wont have the ability to use it. They declined and said theyll put it on a ticket and get back to me in 72 hours. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and not even for a massive amount of money. Their policy to retain their customers money in a very sharky and misleading manner is extremely immoral. I was signed up for an account by an employee when I tried to pay for a single-use service. I tried to call and cancel and was told my account had been closed and wouldn't be charged further. They have been consistently charging me for 18 months for an account that was never used. I've called and cancelled multiple times and was never informed of the physical form that was required for cancelation until today. They refuse to refund me and state that they won't refund for months of non-use. I was also told that there were no notes/indications on my account that anyone tried to cancel my account. They lied on the phone, didn't explain the cancelation process or a physical form that required a signature. This seems fraudulent.Business response

************************* was signed up on our Flex One membership which is $19.95 + tax a month. Our policy here at Slick Rock is when you want to cancel your membership you need to come in person and sign the cancellation form before the 25th of the month. Clients are aware and told when they sign up that we do not refund for unused months, which is also in our release form and EFT agreement. Once the issue got escalated to management he was already refunded 2 months within our system which is how far back the system goes. I went in manually and refunded him an extra 2 months as a courtesy. He has a full 4 months refunded back onto his card. I also offered ******** visits which he didn't want on his account, but rather on his girlfriends account, so I went ahead and added them on hers as a one time courtesy. At the end of the call with him I asked him if he was happy with the resolution, and he said if that is all you can do. I then asked if he would delete his ****** reviews and he said that he would delete the part about reporting us to the BBB and taking us to small claims court. I checked the ****** reviews he left on every location we have and had only left one up.Initial Complaint

Business slick Rock **************************** Date of transaction- 12/22/22 Amount ******************************* a gift card for Christmas. Worker stated 1 month of VIP Service would be 140 but said to round to 160 for taxes. Today 12/26/22 I went to redeem the gift card and gave them my information. They explained the services and had you sign that they explained the services and they gave a tour. When it was time to choose the package they then said there was an additional 150$ fee and then had to do autopay. I had just wanted to try the services. We asked for our money back and they declined - we spoke with client services who reports she, ****** would refund the money, however the company still has our account information since my spouse purchased the gift card. And its concerning because when the employees had spoken with a manager they told her the gift card was tied to a dummy account under an entirely different name. I also asked that my information be removed and they stated they could not do so. We will be keeping an eye out for a refund but are concerned due to the lack of integrity of this company and their bait and switch tactics. We expect a full refund and my information be deleted from the system.
