I rented an apartment that was managed by trail Creek property management.The very first day we moved in. I told them that the heater did not have the safety cover on the front of it. They told me they would get that taken care of 34 months later the roof is leaking in the bathroom drips on you while youre on the toilet, the outlet that the fridge is plugged into Sparks when you turn the microwave on. if you unplug the microwave the fridge outlet wont work there are gaps in the wall around the air conditioner letting the air in and theres another light switch in the bedroom or hallway that does not work Because of the electrical issues that they would not fix and the heater issue that they have still not fixed we opted to move my son out of that apartment for safety reasons. After we gave them notice he was leaving then they started trying to half a** fix things.I did not want him Trail Creek property management told me that if I moved out they would still bill me for the remaining month on our lease plus lose my deposit plus an extra two months of rent , so what they did is force me to pay the last months rent on the lease and now they are squabbling about giving me back my deposit. I asked these guys to take care of this on the 19th in writing. Some of this stuff was talk to them prior to this , but nothing in writing according to ***** code it should take them three days after they have it in writing to fix it its been 12 and they still have not completed the repairs And they refuse to work with us at all. I cant even get a call back from the owner.Customer response

While moving out we noticed another outlet under the bed that was loose leaving a small gap between the outlet and the cover. Was able to notice that the walls are full of mice and their droppings are falling out the gap onto the floor.Customer response

******************* the owner of trail creek property management refuses to take or return any phone calls to try and resolve this issue. His receptionist basically said he is a coward and to not expect a call from him. He has your money and that is realy all he cares about.Initial Complaint

Ever since the 22 of December 2021, I've had two holes in my roof, and just now bearly are getting fixed. For months I have either gone to a hotel to shower paying for it out of my pocket, or not shower, and it's not right. The manager *****, does as she pleases, and walks right into your apartment without you knowing she is there. She has a very vulgar mouth, and will not leave me alone at all when I'm outside, so that's when I started to smoke inside knowing I could get evicted for it, but what am I to do? I've also have been paying 705 for rent even though I shouldn't have because of the holes, but I just found out that my power has gone up because of the holes. I can't move due to this apartment was my last resort. I am mentally and physically disabled so I cannot do stairs. One of my drs are looking into figuring out how they can step in to get this place legally charged for hazards and dangers. I have ulcers on my left foot, and they are not healing because my place is a pig sty, because their maintenance men dont clean up after themselves. Also everytime I go get the mail ***** stops me and asks me questions that are non of her business, and when I tell its non of her business she gets really ignorant and rude to me. They have had our parking lot torn up for months now, and I use a ****** to get around with, and that parking lot is really unsafe for anyone. People have blown tires, or damaged their cars, and everytime someone complains to ***** she says it out of my control. There are many people who live here with some kind of problems with their apartments. They should have never rented these apartments out until construction was done on them. We have many kids and pets who live here that are suffering as well. Please do something to not let trail creek properties get away with this. Thank you.Business response

I am sorry you are having to deal with these issues. We have addressed most of these issues as they have come up. The holes in your roof (ceiling)were caused by a windstorm which led to a leak. We made emergency repairs as soon as it happened and made arrangements to have the roof replaced as soon as possible.The roof was replaced over a month ago. With the exception of when the leak first occurred and was actively leaking, your shower and bathroom have been fully accessible and functionable.
Sections of the parking lot and driveways are getting redone.These repairs take time, our contractors do their best to provide uninterrupted access and parking.
As per the issues with our staff,we dont tolerate vulgar language. I will look into this and take necessary action. If you would prefer, I can instruct our onsite manager not to interact with you except for necessary communications. As a reminder, we do not allow smoking inside our apartments. I cant help but think that your complaint is retaliatory to our communications regarding smoking inside the apartment. Smoking inside causes damage and creates a potential fire hazard to the entire building.
Please bring in your heating **** and I would be happy to review it and potentially refund you a portion for the extra heating cost that *** have been incurred.
