I contacted Precision AC as they are a prefered dealer for my brand of HVAC equipment (******). Precision sent out Western Refrigeration-more on that later. My system was not working and on 2-8-23 they (WRS) changed a part under warranty and I paid the labor/paperwork/shipping. MFR warranty covered the cost of the part. System failed again about 3 weeks later. Same service technician was told by their parts supplier (Distributor) to change other parts. They changed the parts and the system was still non operational. They then returned to replace the same part from the initial visit to restore operation. They billed me for the labor to change all parts on the 2nd and 3rd call. The system only functioned after the parts on the 3rd call were replaced. When they left after the 2nd visit it was not operational. They believe I should pay for the labor to change those parts that did not fix the system. The biggest problem here is I have tried to contact Precision by mail at least 3 times and they refuse to answer my question regarding the poor service and fraudulent charges for labor. I was told WRS is the sister company of Precision. They have the same owner but due to WRS not having a manufacturer relationship with ************** chose to contact Precision. The Precision website claims they have factory trained technicians however they use WRS for service whose technicians are not ****** factory trained. This led to a lot of guessing which parts needed replaced and ultimately I was billed for the labor when the technician guessed wrong. After the last service the system functioned for about 4 or 5 months and stopped working again. It was installed in 2021 so it was less than 2 years old when I began having problems.Business response

The equipment is a high end ****** system that has 4 boards in the unit, We have been trained to call ****** tech suppot and go over the codes that the system is giving, ****** tech support said to change the main board, when we change the boared it did not fix the issue, they said to change the same board again because it could be a faulty board and change the wire harness at the same. After doing so the uit sill did not work correcty. They at that time said the chage the other boarde , Home owner was not charge for that service. When going out the third time with the other board it resolved the issue! I am rejecting this response because:Precision does not address that I am being charged 1.5 hours labor to change a pump board and wire harness that was not able to restore the system to function. The inverter board was the item that was the problem. The first visit that the inverter board was changed I was charged for 1.0 hr labor. On the third visit the inverter board was changed again and finally restored the operation of the system. The labor (1.5 hours) to change the pump board and wire harness is not correct. These are the parts that were changed to pad the labor bill. This is not being fair. If you were being fair you would charge for the labor to change the parts that fixed the system not all the labor for parts that did not fix the system. As I understand the contact information ***** works for ****** (parts supplier) not ******. I guess we will have to let a judge decide how much labor and for which parts I am responsible for paying as the service company does not agree that they should not charge for labor to replace parts that were not broken. Please provide me with your documentation that the pump board and wire harness were defective. As I stated before the this could be settled for the 1 hour charge to replace the inverter board as was billed on the initial visit. Also all previous attempts to contact ****************** have been ignored which led to the past due invoice.
Sincerely,
