We hired ****** **** in October 2021 for 3 different jobs with a completion date of 45 days. Pour a concrete patio (4in deep) off the back of the house and a pad for a storage shed, build a storage shed on said pad, and put up a fence around our backyard. We started out giving ****** 60% of the concrete and fence project to get it started. After a lengthy amount of time, *** finally had the concrete poured. He clearly bought too much concrete and had it all poured for the patio, making it 8 inches thick. The patio is uneven, not square, has boot prints and board prints on the top, and is so tall, we now need a safety rail around it. He was supposed to have put a colorant in the concrete, but he forgot. He came back saying he could stain it and his worker, ***** started to stain it and it was not even close to the color we had chosen. We had chosen a light sand color and ***** was trying to put a charcoal color on it. We told him to just forget the stain as the top looked so bad and would need to be fixed. ***** informed us that *** told him to do it anyway. We didn't let him. *** told us that the fencing was on back order, so he wanted to start the shed and requested 60% of that and requested the final payment for the concrete. To this day, he has not completed the shed, the roof had OSB exposed for months with rain and snow, the pitch of the roof isn't the same on both sides, there were no trusses, just 2x6's. A lot of the walls weren't secured. If a strong wind came, it would have blown the entire thing down. It was a huge safety concern. While they were "building" the shed, a man showed up to dig the holes for the fence all along the perimeter of our backyard. We continued to ask about the fence with no response. There was never a steady stream of work being done, it was always sporadic, but now no one was showing up at all and we were being ignored. The fence was never ordered or installed. He took our money, left us with safety issues and ghosted us.
