I am having an extremely difficult time cancelling my membership.I gave notice of a pause, which for this group means I am paying $15/month just to stay connected but not use the club.I moved out of the area and gave the required (more than) 30 days notice to cancel.Then I was told I was required to pay 2 months fee.Then, upon complaining, they agreed it was only one month fee, since I gave my 30 day notice.Then I was told I had to pay the full month payment of $74, not the $15 hold.This is ridiculous and unethical. I have not used the club but 3 times in the past half year, and no times since going to pause.What - if I pause for 3 months at $15/month and then cancelled, do I then owe the full rate for those three months? That's a scam. It's not really a pause at all.Initial Complaint

For two ******* in a row, the air conditioning has not been working at Lakeview Athletic Club. It's not like it's just been a couple of days. It has not been working for about a month. It has been made it stifling to engage in any kind of cardiovascular activity. Honestly, if I push myself hard, I worry I'm going to pass out. When asked if they could fix it or -- if I could receive a reduction in rates if this continues -- management has been unresponsive.
