They tell u that they help u find and apartment that u can afford and don't do credit checks nor do u have to pay for an application fee, and don't don't worry if u have any evictions, then u pay $200 and they give u a listing of apartments that's not available and u have to call the landlord urself and still do the application after if u get to view an apartment. So what is the $200 for?Initial Complaint

So they told us they had a listing of 4 Zoe * bedrooms for ****** and it toward you rent and you wont have to pay a security deposit they dont do that when we get their they switched **************** avoided us the whole time until we left she didnt answer my husband calls we want our money back none of these houses or apartments either not ready or asking for way to much requesting higher pay they have listed on paper I want my money backInitial Complaint

I have been dealing with reliable rentals since December of last year. They are a business that is suppose to help people who fall hard on trying to get a place to stay because of credit, evictions, etc. I have been calling them getting my list almost every week and I have still yet to even go see an apartment. The list thats given out, prices dont fit my agenda, they dont even answer the phone, or if they do theyll set up an appointment for viewing and never answer again. People like me are already having a hard enough time. We pay our money to businesses like this to help us and this is how we get treated. It is now may I called and they are telling me this was only a 4 month program, which if it is that should have been stated at the beginning at sign up, but of course it wasnt. I paid money and was told I would get help for an apartment. Which did not happen! There has to be something done about this because Im pretty sure Im not the only person that feels this strongly. If someone could help me get this problem resolved I would gladly appreciate it.Initial Complaint

I paid Reliable Realty $200.00 on 02/15/2024 and *************** was not truthful about what they had to offer and have not held up to thier end of services they promised to provide. I asked **************** did they have any 2 bedroom west side apartments for $1,000-$1,150/monthly. Her response was "yes we just got some in" I filled out the application, sent her my fee via cashapp, she gave me a receipt and list. After reviewing there were only 2 apartments that met the criteria I provided. She also informed the application was good for 90 days and I would be eligible for a new ****** every week all I had to do was call and they would email it to me. When 02/22/2024 came I called and requested a new listing from her co-worker I never got the email. I called back 02/23/2024 spoke with her co-worker again she said my papers were still on her desk. I got a call from **************** later that day because one of my calls were missed she was following up. She informed me it would be better if I waited til the end of the day to get the new list because it would be updated I agreed, end of day came still no email. I called Saturday no answer and still no new listing. I have requested a refund through cashapp. I see how they are doing business and I do not wish to be handled this way. I also expressed my current landlord is selling the property and I need to be moving by 04/01/2024. I dont understand why she wouldnt be more accurate as finding an apartment and moving takes some time which I expressed I did not have a lot of. I am also questioning the authenticity of this property listing they are providing as they have not provided me with one.Initial Complaint

I was told that this company works with evictions and other factors thatll hold you back to rent, and that with a 200 dollar fee, they are guaranteed to get me in a unit. Ive been in constant contact with this company since 8/25/23 to see if the goods and services that will fulfill our contact. And only been giving the run around with no promising service. The company claimed they were going to help me get a apartment with no credit checks or applications fees if I paid 200 to get a list of houses that they had I told them that I needed a 3 or 4 bedroom apartment the list they gave me was composed of 1 and 2 bedroom sum of them have been rented for months I only found this out after I paid the money the list was to be updated weekly only for them to send me the same list the next week my co worker said she went to the same place and had same results
