Glass is breaking off in shards or small chunks that fall into food and onto counter where food prep occurs. It is breaking off at the metal clip location. I have received no resolution from stores or company. I have many more jars that I don't use often that are subjected to this demise. All of which is a very costly investment.This is a health hazard and the masses need to be warned. Glass ingested can be a medical emergency.Business response

We would be more than happy to refund you the price of the product and send you replacements of the same jars or a different style of product if you feel more comfortable. If you could please let us know where you made your purchase so we can refund you right away that would be greatly appreciated.

I am not rejecting this response because: I have no other choice but to pick "reject" to be able to write you back with your desired request as the other option will close out the case. I purchased the items from The Container Store and ****************** with their store located in ********, **. The following jar sizes have chips - *******mL, 1000-1115mL, *******mL, *******mL. I have 4 jars *******mL and 1 jar *******mL that are not chipped but will not use due to risk of glass contaminating my food. I accept your offer for a monetary refund and replacing the 9 jars in same size with Kilner products or Ball products; which ever has the equivalent size and aesthetically pleasing as the Le Parfait glass do. Thank you.

I spoke with company on Jan30th via their company number. I was told they would send a check to replace all items - I emailed them my address and additional pictures as requested. They also said on that day they would update the BBB complaint to reflect our conversation (of which it has not be done as of COB on Jan 31st). On BBB site they said they would refund my cost of products and replace with their item or of my choice - I gave them my choice and they declined. I have yet to hear from this company for the resolution. They also declined it for reasons of it being a grocery store when in fact it was The Container Store and local merchant in town - not grocery (I do not know where they came up with that conclusion). I will need to know the next step if this is not resolved as their product is a health hazard to the public.Sincerely,
