On June 10, 2022, I called in an ordered Chinese Food for my brother who resides in this facility, ************ of ***********. located at ****************************************. in Forest Pk. The facility is just a few blocks west of Happy Chef 3;51 p.m. I placed the order and paid $18.89 for it via the telephone 4:01 The driver contacted me by phone and said he was at the facility. I informed him that he should leave it with the receptionist and it would be delivered to the intended recipient. (My brother, *************************** Room 427-Bed -1)6:00 p.m. My brother (the receipient) called me to inquire about his meal. I informed him that it was my understanding that it had been delivered a couple of hours prior. I asked him to allow me to speak with straff personnel on the unit. I spoke to a staff nurse and he told me, "He has it now,"i initially thought the nursing home was at fault because if it was delivered at 4:00 p.m. as claimed by the driver, then there was no reason why it should have not been received sooner than 2 hours later, Again, Happy Chef is only a few blocks east of the home.June 16, **** ************ informed me that they had video footage showing the driver of Happy Chef actually delivering the food at 5:45 p.m., (almost 2 hours after the ordere was placed)June 17, approximately 1;30 p.m. I traveled more than 22 miles from my home to stop by by the restaurant to vocie my concern and seek some type of clarity and apology, but instead I was met by a screaming, demeaning, and disrespectful staff person who was very angry that I was questioning this matter. As a result, I spent money that was of no use. By the time that my brother was given the food it was "cold." and couldn't be consumed because the nursing home had given their residents their Sunday evening dinner. This was a loss to me and him. .Because I live so far from the facility, I have ordered at this restaurant before, mainly ordering when I visit him. Thanks for your help
