I placed an online order at the end of November 2023. I had a free shipping code and after the order was placed I noticed the shipping was added. I immediately called customer service and was told I would be refunded for shipping. A month later in December I called again to inquire about the refund. I spoke to the same customer service rep and he told me again that it showed I was going to get a refund for shipping. Its now almost 2 mo the later and I still havent received the shipping refund. Dont send free shipping codes if youre not going to honor it. Its also odd that I called customer service twice and got the same customer service rep like he was the only one that worked customer service.Review from Donald F

Was charged $23 extra money for expitided delivery and was not received on time. Was told I could get a "5 dollar refund. Absolutely worst customer service I had ever seen and I would never order anything from this company again.Review from Stella B

Deceptive advertising and underhanded business practices time and time again as promo codes are offered that are "expired" again. Once you've gotten all the way to order completion, they state your promo code which THEY EMAILED OUT if expired-which it is NOT. They offered **** shipping through October 29th but when I tried to use it, it stated it was expired. Spoke to customer service and they said it was indeed expired BUT TODAY is October 29th. I believe they are underhanded and deceptive in their business practices and have removed myself from their mailing list. How do they have an A+ rating when every complaint has rated them a 1 or below?The Popcorn Factory Response

We are very sorry there was an issue using the promo code TPFSHIP5 or if you entered TPFSHIPS. the Last Chance email shows the delivery date had to be 10/31/23 specifically selected or the code would not apply. Our apologies if that was misunderstood.Review from Kristin V

I have purchased gifts from Popcorn Factory in the past. However, recently fraudulent charges have appeared on my credit card from the Popcorn Factory which were not authorized by me. I have reported them to my credit card company and deactivated my card. Please be careful when purchasing items on line through this company.Review from Debra M

After 2 months of trying to stop an order and obtain a refund, I am so upset. ALL phone numbers are directed to ************** in the ***********. After 7 emails of promising to fix my problem and a pledge to refund me. Nothing has been done. I have kept a detailed record and I am considering legal action soon. **********Review from Catrina L

I can see I am not the first customer to complain about the ridiculous mailing of your catalogs. When I requested an order I specifically asked for no mail catalogs to be sent to my address as all my viewing and ordering is done online. Next month I received a catalog. Called the 800 number they said that the catalogs would be discontinued. The very next month I received two more catalogs addressed to same name same address on same day. And I have since received a fourth. (44pages each!!) All within the span of about three months. The billions of dollars that are wasted on these companies sending unwanted catalogs is unfathomable. Clogging landfills with their now considered junk mail. Not only do they send me catalogs but now I have found out that every order I have made for another individual such as a friend or relative will also be receiving mailed catalogs unsolicited of course. Now I receive calls asking why I put their names on a mailing list?!!! Oh yes and let me mention the ******************** ** has DISCONTINUED all recycling services until further notice due to driver shortages and who KNOWS what other reasons! Someone needs to get their head out of the sand and realize the sending of these catalogs is not good for the environment nor is it good for customer service. I sure wish the day would come when these types of unsolicited mail outs would become illegal. If only!!!Oh yes and if you would find those who actually KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR JOB, you may just find that the stopping of the billions of catalogs you mail out would most likely yield higher company profits even taking into consideration your ungodly marketing expense deductions taken for said mail outs. How about someone at your company take the initiative to stop the madness of unsolicited unwanted catalog mail outs?! Do something good for the environment and customer service!!Review from MELINDA H

Poor communication on not having product to ship and then one CSR actually told me the product would ship on a specific date and arrive on the same date ... not even listening to her own words. The biggest problem though is they charged my PayPal account and the credit they promised still has not shown up after 43 days. I do have emails from Popcorn Factory confirming the credit and now I have escalated it for Resolution with PayPal as The Popcorn Factory is no longer replying to my communications with them.Review from Carl H

The quality of the Popcorn Factory is less than satisfactory. For the prices charged, a consumer should be able to expect a quality product. What I received was a bunch of crumbs swept up off the floor. It one thing to have a few but not greater than 50% of the popcorn. Please warn customers of the poor quality/scam for the prices charge.Review from Tracey P

I ordered from the Popcorn Factory last year December 2020. Just noticed on credit card statement today that there were two not one but two bogus charges. I immediately called the credit card co I also call Popcorn Factory to speak to a manager and got hung up on.Review from Karen O

The Popcorn Factory has canceled two separate HOLIDAY orders of mine because of Ran out of Stock item. For Halloween I ordered a gift from The Popcorn Factory for my granddaughter, It Never was Delivered. When I called 3 customer service people ( the first one said let check on that mam -, hung up on me. Second one checked my order and said it was CANCELED . When I asked Who canceled it , he hung up on me. Third one Finally said they ran out of the item and so they Canceled the order. I said , So no one alerted me before OR after when the gift was to be delivered IT WAS NEVER GOING TO BE DELIVERED. They gave me my money back in **** days. Stupid Me Ordered Christmas gifts through them, which I received Half of the order. AGAIN I tracked down the order and AGAIN We ran out of stock. But this time they just said well let you know when it SHIPS, it is now December 22 . The first Half of the order was to be delivered Dec. 20, it was delivered on Dec. 22, thats when I tried to track the other half of the order only to find out by the Second agent that we cant do anything unless you cancel the order and reorder it paying the expedited shipping fee which is double the cost of the popcorn. I think I finally realized ************ needs to be ACCOUNTABLE when they drop the ball , send an email, give a call when you run OUT OF STOCK . Let the Customer know there is a problem , instead of slipping it under the rug and ignoring the customer , you had NO PROBLEM TAKING THEIR MONEY . Then finally when the customer does the tracking and , Yes, always takes at least 2 agents to get to the bottom of where is my order, the company finally says in **** days youll get a refund. Might be Good Popcorn BUT HORRIBLE BUSINESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
