CBR Restoration Group ("CBR") was hired to replace my entry door to my condo unit. This is a fire-rated entry door connected to a common hall for a 4 story building. CBR's employee, ******, first examined the door in January 2022. ****** was there for about five minutes and was in a rush to leave. ****** returned a second time to examine the door again. I did not hear back again from CBR or ****** for over a month. Eventually, in April, I had to ask CBR if they were still planning on replacing the door and if I could get the estimate that they promised me back in January. CBR and ****** said they forgot about the door because they were too busy. ****** came out again to examine the door for a third time. After getting the estimate, I paid CBR $1,070.00, which CBR cashed on April 28. ****** promised the door by May 22. On May 21, ****** told me that the door was not ready. The door was picked up June 1 and scheduled for install June 3. ****** arrived an hour late on June 3 and told me he had the wrong door and could not install it. He laughed when I asked when the correct door would be ready for install. I have reached out multiple times to CBR and ****** since then and have not heard back.
