This was a prepurchase inspection on 7/29/22. *****************, Pillar to Post completed a prepurchase mobile home inspection and failed to note significant problems with the home: 1) active leak from the refrigerator which caused mushy spot and uneven flooring, 2) past water damage caused uneven flooring, 3) all six of the mobile home tie downs had rusted through and 4) the dryer vent under the house looked like a roller coaster ride. All posed significant safety issues. We have spent more than $4,000 to hire contractors to repair these unidentified problems. If the inspector had completed a competent professional job, we could have negotiated a lower price and be warned of the issues we faced. I have pictures documenting these safety violations.I notified the inspector of the flooring problems and invited him to come and see it before repairs were made. He did not respond. I have sent emails and received no response.I now seek a complete refund for the substandard performance. ** I am having diffculty uploading the video of the tie downs. Is there a way I can send as text attachment?

****************-Prom's complaint is inaccurate. Here is the accurate turn of events:

      1.) SHE EMAILED

8/22/22 6:33 PM  *********************** emailed asking for a refund or for us to come see the issues she mentioned in her email.  The contractor was coming THE NEXT MORNING and we were already scheduled to be somewhere else.  She gave ZERO notice to come see the issues in question.

      2.)  WE RESPONDED

8/26/22 9:29 am we emailed that we were standing by our work and didn't feel a refund was warranted.  SHE DIDN'T RESPOND!

      3.)  SHE EMAILED

Oct 9, 2022 7:17 PM She emailed demanding a refund in 48 hours.

      4.)  WE RESPONDED

Oct 9, 2022 8:20 PM We responded we were on vacation for a few more days and would respond promptly upon return.

      5.)  WE EMAILED

Oct 13, 2022 8:49 AM  We reluctantly emailed a release to be signed in order to receive a full refund although we still had a difference of opinion.

      NO RESPONSE FROM HER

So we have received 3 emails from *********************** and sent 4 responses to those emails.  Also we offered the refund she wanted even though we do not agree, we felt sorry for her and wanted to show kindness as clearly this money very important to her.  She didn't respond to us after our August 26 email, our October 9th email or our October 13th email offering her the very thing she is seeking.

I am rejecting this response because:

The businesses response lists emails that I missed.  I am not aware of any missed emails, as I would have responded.  I might not have recognized the origin of the email or it may have ended ** in my spam filter. The business says they offered me a full refund if I would sign a release.  That offer is not confirmed in this response.  It is referred as if it was a past opportunity that I missed the email.  If the business is willing to provide me a full refund, I am happy to sign a release and close this complaint.

Dear Pillar to Post, where do you stand now?

      Sincerely,

      *******************-Prom
