This company are just plain horrendous. They destroyed my bathroom, refuse to acknowledge leaf pain and then charge me for attorney letters I either never see or that mean absolutely nothing. The contract has the word death in it and it is completely unethical

      Good Afternoon,

Ms. Parenti is involved with active litigation with The ******************************** a complex that we manage.  While we cannot share a copy of Ms. ********* ledger without her written release, we have attached a copy of the cease-and-desist she was served with, along with her defamatory social media post from this morning.  **************** pays her bill in-full, all active litigation will cease.

      Complaint: 21831314

I am rejecting this response because:

We are not in a legal battle.

******* just sends threatening letters that are lies and then charges you for them just to add on to your balance. I was charged for one letter that I never even received and the law firm doesn't even know who I am.

I have never gone in front of a judge nor has anything ever been assigned a case number. However ******* is aware of the fact that I have complaints with the *** and the Attorney General of Illinois due to disability abuse
      Sincerely,

      ************************

      Good Morning,

Please see the following contact information for the attorneys that have filed suit for collection of several thousand dollars of unpaid assessments:

There is nothing more that can be done unless past due assessments are paid.

Regarding the cease and desist as shared, this was done as a warning prior to a defamation lawsuit being filed by the ************ ********** as a company and ************************************* personally.  The false filing of BBB complaints will also be named in the lawsuit as forementioned.

Please advise if you need anything further.

I am rejecting this response because:
In the last response he proved I was threatened on ********* which is being reported to the **************** They have been  harassing for five years- we want to change management so he is seeking retaliation. My balance is zero !

There is no litigation, never was. He will not do that because everything is a lie. They have lied since day one

now they are single me out every way they can. Even refuse to put in my checks correctly. I'm going to the police due to the threats and constant harassing behavior

The brickwork just outside my unit leaks when it rains, in one concentrated spot. My bedroom wall now leaks, whenever it rains hard, prompting mold and structural damage, no doubt. The management company has placated me, by opening 2 identical tickets in their work order portal for unit owners, but it also reads that both tickets are 87 and 60 days overdue. I'm convinced the management company is dragging their feet, as it continues to rain on a semi-regular basis this season, and my wall continues to take damage. It also appears that this issue was covered up prior to my purchase of the unit, since there have always been distinct markings indicating that someone grouted or painted over the leaky section of the wall to cover it up before selling. The management company sent someone from River Elm to look at the wall July of this year, and they confirmed that this was a building issue that required a lift and tuckpointing work, yet nothing has been done. However, the management company has the time and resources to dedicate towards other projects, like mounting guard rails between parking spots and the dumpsters in the parking garage (my parking spot and one other unit's only, to be specific). I would argue that there are far more pressing matters that require attention, and if I didn't know any better, I would say ******** and River Elm are either waiting until next year to fix this (too late, in my opinion) or for me to move out, so they can cover up the problem, and sell to the next unsuspecting owner. How is it that I continue to pay a $326/month HOA fee, and stuff like this remains untouched? Why am I even paying this fee? They clearly don't have my best interests or safety of their building in mind. I've also tried following up on this request a few times. Once via email, in which I contacted ******** and the Office email, and it went unreplied, and as recently as last week, when I commented in the portal under the 2 work tickets they opened for me. Nothing...

      Good Afternoon,

**************** complaint is with his condominium association; not Management.  ************ has been directed to attend one of the quarterly Association meetings for his complex, of which he has not attended one since purchasing the condominium.  Furthermore, ************ finds it very convenient to turn to the available means of the internet to voice his concerns instead of following instructions and attending the meetings as directed to address the covenants and bylaws of which he is bound by to the title of his condominium.

Stop wasting everyone's time on the internet *** and show up at a meeting like the other 37 unit owners do.

      Complaint: 20741911

I am rejecting this response because:

With all due respect, I fail to see what attending one of these meetings will do, if the work ticket(s) exists, and there appears to be minimal effort made. What are we going to discuss, the fact that the work is still not done?

Honestly, why would I attend a meeting? Its clear were not each others biggest fans, and we both know what needs to be done in this particular situation. Is monthly bureaucracy going to fix the bricks? I have an anxiety disorder, so seeing and discussing condo politics with people I barely know is not at the top of my list of things I care to do. Especially when I dont see this situation warranting a meeting, but rather, action on someones part that isnt me, as much as Id like to just handle it myself and be done with it. Its a matter of principle. Its not my building.

The fact that its a condo association issue, rather than a mangement issue, seems irrelevant. Besides, I dont see any place to complain against the association for this. I doubt itd be heard anyway. These groups tend to be cliquey, and require a certain amount of glad-handing to accomplish the same basic needs everyone deserves, regardless of how well theyre liked or how many meetings they attend.

      Sincerely,

      *********************

      ************,

The Association runs your building; we are just their managing agents and take orders.  We have provided you with the option to address the responsible party at hand.

      Complaint: 20741911

I am rejecting this response because:

The management company, River Elm, runs the *********************** meetings... Its still ****************** and *** whether its Ramar or River Elm, is it not?

We make our checks out to Ramar house association, yet we mail the checks to River Elm This just strikes me as a weird shell game youre playing.

I like that there is still no ETA on the delivery of the tuckpointing work.

I shouldnt have to go to an association meeting to have this request completed. You tell me to quit using the internet to complain? I would ask you to quit using superfluous red tape to avoid responsibility. What if I was paralyzed, and couldnt attend the meetings, even if I wanted to? Would you still make me physically attend the meeting, in order to have the tuckpointing request acknowledged?

Ill go to a meeting if River Elm isnt there. And, after all, if this is indeed a Ramar House issue, and not a River Elm issue, then the good people at River Elm wouldnt need to be there, right? Give me a guarantee that nobody from River Elm will be there, and Ill attend.

      Sincerely,

      *********************
