Meineke in ********** had my car for two months and did not fix it .Then they lied and said it was fixed and would not let me take it for a ride before I paid for it. I was sold parts which did not correct the problem and was overcharged for all of them.The day I picked the car up was 12/30/21 and the only mechanic was off and they were only open until noon on new years eve and closed on Saturday. I was not going to let my mint **************************************** a snowstorm sit outside all weekend because snow was forecast on Saturday. I had no choice but to bring it to another shop.My problem was the shop was about 25 miles away and the car only did 50 on the highway but made it out there and I left the car. The shop called me on Friday 12/31/21 saying the second cheap incorrect distributor which Meineke put in was the whole problem.To make a long story short Meineke only wants to pay me for the bad distributor but I feel I am entitled to be reimbursed for the cost for the shop to fix the car the right way and almost $84 for two lyft rides to get back home Thursday and to get out there Friday night.The entire amount I am seeking is $251,31 for the second cheap defective distributor,$430.28 I had to pay to Dyno tune in ****************** and $82.73 for the two Lyft rides for a total of $764.32 .I had just spent $1550.72 on 10/29 at Meineke for another repair which only lasted one day before the car had to be towed back on 10/30/21.The **** for the two month long job was $3334.92 which did not fix the car! I got a lot of new parts which did not fix the problem . Some I bought myself and a lot of parts they bought and overcharged me for.So between Meineke and buying the parts I bought I spent over $6000 for a car which was not fixed correctly and then had to pay another shop $430 to fix it right. Meineke customer service has copies of all the invoices. I feel I am entitled to a refund of $764.32. For all of what I went through I will not accept anything less !
