The merchant and I chatted via text on June 3rd, 2022, prior to the service date about pricing. I was informed Microblading service costs $450, plus a $50 deposit that would go towards the cost of the service.I received the service in person on June 5th, 2022 by ****. I was asked to sign the consent waiver and service form. After the service, I was charged $699 which was $299 more than what I was originally told and agreed on. I was not aware or informed about the new price prior or during the service. I got the electronic receipt listed that I got Ombre Brow which is $450 on the merchant website, but, it was listed at $550 on my receipt. I texted the merchant and asked for my deposit since it did not go towards the service as stated on the merchant website. The merchant told me the deposit did went towards the service. The total cost then was $749 from $450 and suggested me to pay cash to get $50 deposit refunded or else $50 is a service fee for using a credit card.I filed the dispute with **** of America (BOA), but my dispute was closed after the merchant provided a consent waiver and the service form with her handwriting listed the price that was added recently, not on the day of service. The forms now have a handwritten price of procedure for $600 which is different from the service on my receipt and what I agreed on. I was not aware or had seen the price listed there. The merchant and I had never discussed any pricing more than $450 before and during the service. A few days before my dispute was closed, the owner reached out to me via phone/text and threatened me to cancel the dispute or else she would file a claim against me. The result also does not last as the merchant claimed. The merchant website listed the result should last 2-3 years, but it has already faded in less than 2 months. I am highly dissatisfied with the result of the service and dishonest/ unethical business practice of this merchant and would like a full refund.
