I went in to this store on 7/1/24 between 920 & 940 pm to cash lottery tickets. One woth 105 and others accumulated worth 115 and they proceeded to only try and give me 10$. I didnt get the 10$ or the money for the other tickets I won on. They stole my money and screamed obscenities at me until I left.Business response

The customer arrived into the store with multiple tickets. She was helped by an employee who scanned the tickets as instructed by us and Illinois Lottery on the Photon terminal. After scanning the ticket, the customer complained that one of her $2 dollar scratchers was a $105 winner and others accumulated to $115. This was untrue. The tickets were worthless besides the $2 scratcher which was a $10 winner. After the winner was scanned in the photon terminal, a "customer" and "retailer" ticket was printed. As the lady began to argue with the employee, the employee showed that the ticket was only worth $10, and showed her the customer copy. After every ticket scratch, the photon also plays an audio message saying "winner;" of which only one message was heard, the $10 winner. Upon hearing the customer complain about the ticket, the store owner, *****************, walked over and addressed the issue repeating the same steps as the employee, i.e showing the tickets as non-winners and showing the photon printed customer-retailer copy showing $10 winner. The customer denied this physical evidence and was rude; to which *** said there isn't anymore we can do. After this, the lady and her family members berated the business on ****** Reviews tarnishing our reputations and making South Beloit Food Liquor, a family owned business of 13 years, to be scammers and dishonest. The ****** review was promptly addressed. We have security footage showing the altercation and how we are innocent in this matter. Furthermore, I would like repercussions on this lady for her ill intents and those fraudulent reviews removed.
