I went to siu school of medicine internal medicine because I was really depressed. They gave me some meds for depression but at some point switched the depression medication to something for anxiety. I went to get a refill and the pharmacist said it's not for depression it's for anxiety.

I was medically assulted by an obgyn, on that sameday, I was getting very ill which took place the week of Thanksgiving on 11/21/2022 @ 11 am. This took place on 1100 Lincolnshire Blvd in Springfield, IL. The biopsy on my ovary was never completed and the IUD was never what I wanted, I even told the women who came in for the paper work that gave them the authorization to do both, I turned and looked at her said I no I dont want the IUD, I said can I have a new paper work, she turned and signed it and said just talk to the doctor. On all of my paper work, it said I handled the pain very well, up to the moment the people who supposedly investigating this talked to him that monday and I was already very sick, mentally falling apart and came close twice taking my life. This doctor violated me, and was told in march of 2023, that I was sick, I was lying and that I was telling a sick joke. My story has never changed. As I was also kicked out of SIU and care that I did have that was good, I dont know if I could even see another obgyn like I have a new one booked because I still have a new cyst. Just the thought of going makes me feel like it will happen again. I want a child, this doctor got myself and another person mixed up. I filed on his license, but for him he will get away from what he did. You know money talks and the victim always loses with SIU. Those signs you on the property arent there for you to be protected its there to protect the doctors and nurses, and doctors have the right to harm you because SIU will protect the doctor and not the patient. I blame this medical program on the heart issues I have now.

I fell and broke 5 of my ribs went to urgent care on 2/4/23 been trying now for 7 days to get an appointment with a doctor at siu school of medicine. They don't want to make the doctor available and force me to see a nurse practitioner twice I called finally the 2nd time said the doctor won't be in til March no specific date just March

I visited the Maternal Fetal Medicine Department for my anatomy Ultrasound around 20th week of pregnancy. Because of my age, I was considered to have a high-risk pregnancy. This is my second pregnancy and I am a physician myself so I am very familiar with medical practice, ultrasound, billing, charges, and medical codes in healthcare. During the abdominal ultrasound, I was first told by the sonographer that she could not visualize certain windows because of the baby's position, and also she recommended that they should look with a vaginal ultrasound during the same session. So after we agreed, a vaginal Ultrasound was performed which only looked for that particular parameter, abdominal ultrasound had already scanned for the other necessary organs of myself and the baby. Then I was told we should come back because certain windows of the heart could not be visualized. I called reception to schedule that repeat ultrasound and tried to schedule the appointment, I was told it has to be after a certain period of time so that they could bill my insurance as a growth ultrasound. I was very concerned as during the visit I was not told of any concerns about the growth of the baby. Then I contacted the doctor who has always been nice and reassuring and was told there were no concerns. Obviously the practice is functioning in such a way that they could collect more money from patients and insurance companies. I was billed a separate complete detailed vaginal ultrasound although they only did that at the very same session of the abdominal anatomy scan to look for just a single parameter. The ultrasound charges are outrageously higher than other places for the same service. Also I received a separate bill for the ultrasound whose sole purpose was to look for the windows that could not be visualized at the first attempt and this was billed as a growth ultrasound so that there would not be problems with the insurance payments. This is a bad and unethical medical practice.
