I hired grout medic of fox valley to clean my tile, remove mold, remove caulk and recaulk. This took place on July 5 2024. After the employee was finished, I noticed issues right away. I emailed them within minutes of the employee leaving. There were scratches throughout all my tile where it was clear something abrasive was used, caulk missing in some areas, mold around the door that was never cleaned, and caulk put on top of caulk around the shower drain. They stated they would send someone out to resolve. I contacted the office on July 15 for the status. Office lady stated they are short staff this week. The appointment was then schedule on Monday July 22nd at 4pm. I explained before this though that I would like a contractor that does stone repairs to come to the home first. ***** from grout medic stated they do not do stone repairs. 11:51 in a text I told him to feel free to come as my contractor already came. ***** then sent me another message that he would come Tuesday July 23rd 4:30-5:00. Before ***** came I asked him as a homeowner what is the resolution process before you come into my house? I asked this because ***** from grout medic stated they cant fix tile. So I plan out my work schedule again to be around the house. 5:15 pm roles around and still no one shows up. I called ***** and he became again combative with me. I provided so many photos of the damage within minutes of the guy leaving. The owner ***** constantly say I need to see it yet he no shows for appointments. I feel extremely uncomfortable with the belittling, lack of respect ,and care for my time. I have requested it be sent to his liability insurance and he hung on me. This has been this way since July 5th with no resolution. My shower is 3 years old and I would like it to pre loss condition.
