I signed a contract early November 2022, for this business to sell personal belongings. Items included a table/4 chairs, a recliner and several items of home *********. I was told by the owner, *************************, before consigning with her that commission checks go out every month. I signed the contract, took my items and then I was told by her employee that commission checks go out every-other month. I know for a fact that the table/chairs sold for $250.00 dollars within 1-2 days because it was confirmed with the employee. Around the 2nd week of December 2022 I asked when I needed to retrieve the items that didn't sell with the employee. She said generally after 30 days. I asked for them to gather my belongings so that I could pick them up. It took several weeks and several requests to finally get a small box of items back. Late December (when seeking to obtain my belongings) I had a conversation with the employee and ****** about wanting my belongings back and also asked about the commission check. ****** stated, "we think the checks got knocked off of the counter into the trash". I asked the employee when the replacement check would be sent out because I clearly did not receive it and she said "the next cycle". I asked if that meant I had to wait another month or more and she said, "No." My final attempt to get my belongings was directly with ****** on 1-12-2023 at which time she said she would personally gather my things and have a report showing the items that sold. When I picked up the box on 1-18-2023 there was no report. I texted ****** again telling her that I was not happy, my concerns, and asked for the report, a copy of my contract and a date that the commission check would be mailed. As usual her only response was that of excuses. To date, I have not received any of the information that I requested including the 40% commission on all items sold.Customer response

The business stated on ******** that they had sent ** proof and I am lying:
"I have honored my side of the contract and will say that defamation of character is a real issue and that you are making false accusations and statements." - from the business posted on ********
