Date of transaction : 06/11/2024 Amount agreed to be payed : $10k Total Payed : $10,500 Final Payment Date: 07/12/2024 First day working : 06/11/2024 Final Day worked : 07/12/2024 Work to be done: Painting all ceilings in the house, painting of all doors, removal-*********************** of all trim , first floor all rooms & half bathroom were to be painted except the laundry room, all cabinets were to be primed, painted, & sealed w a protectant top coat, painting master bedroom w accent wall, 2nds bedroom painting + ********** wall decal install, ********************** of new door *************** When I contracted **** for the job listed above; we both agreed of the price after he completed an in person walk thru & was explained what we were looking for he agreed to it & signed contract. He initially expressed he would have the job done in 3 weeks. After several weeks of going back & forth ; I came to the realization that he was not pulling thru & very unprofessional. Once final day came; multiple spots on the ceiling were poorly done/unprimed , doors were left poorly painted & half done & w no doorknobs, & hinges painted over; he didnt install the new ones. Trim work was not completed properly; no caulking in several places, not sanded properly & some left unpainted. Didnt tape while painting, leaving paint splatters on all carpeting, refrigerator , counter tops, inside pantry, floors, light fixtures, windows, vents , fireplace & more. Multiple walls need second coat of paint, multiple misc. areas are still to be painted, spider wall decal was never installed , multiple cabinets doors were not sealed with top coat & were left with either only paint or primer on them. Threatened to throw a hammer thru the walls if we asked for anything else to be fixed , final day because verbally aggressive toward ***************** took all extra paint , took half of air vents from upstairs area. Work was left undone & poorly finished with some requirements not met.
