Additional Information for Ivy Academy High School LLC

Better Business Bureau serving Northern Indiana reached out to Ivy Academy High School regarding advertising and nature of business. Through information obtained in BBB files, we have found that Ivy Academy High School is neither accredited by the State of Indiana nor accredited by a third party the state of Indiana recognizes. Mr. Ivey stated he informs potential students he is not accredited, when asked for clarification, BBB did not receive a response. BBB requested promotional and marketing materials, and none were provided. BBB asked about work placement or assistance applying to a college or university, BBB did not receive a response. BBB asked about students completing his program and if they went on to further education, BBB did not receive a response. BBB asked about the procedure for students if they should require refunds, Mr. Ivy stated refunds are always available, and they just need to ask. BBB requested a copy of the application students complete but did not receive a response. BBB requested clarification regarding the process for a High School diploma. Mr. Ivy Stated the students take the GED exam, and if they pass, they take a second exam administered by Ivy Academy High School, and then a diploma is issued? BBB requested verification of the process and a copy of the test administered, no response was received. BBB inquired as to what the $350 registration and $250 graduation fee include? BBB did not receive a response. BBB Did not receive responses to e-mails sent on 11/15/23, 11/28/23, and 12/12/23. BBB attempted to call Mr. Ivy at the number he provided to us and it was disconnected.
