We hired Tree city metal sales, June 2023 to build a 30x40 pole barn. Barn was started, October 9, 2023. The last ******** was worked on, November 11,2023. We experienced issues w/the work since Day 1. Any problems that arose were addressed by the owner, ***************************. Currently, there has been 3 separate attempts to install metal/screws properly according to manufacturer protocol. Still today, metal incorrect, screws over tightened, at an angle, rubber seals pushed out around metal washers all resulting from being ALL screws must be correct as it causes numerous problems! The over tightening of screws dents the metal causing water pockets, bad seals, cracking and defeats theirs purpose. As well as, goes against manufacturer guidelines. Metal is installed incorrectly still as it should be hung with prevailing winds. The metal has overlaps that should not be overlapped. We were told the bad was removed before installing new. That did NOT happen they put new metal on top of existing. Which will trap moisture and cause premature rust. Areas where metal is cut too short not properly fitted. metal doesn't fit up into the **Chanel. Roof metal too short resulting in roof leaking. A NEW building should NOT leak nor should caulk need to be used if was properly installed. There is glob of caulk at end of roof which didnt even seal & has visible gapping. Per manufacturer screws should ALL be chalk lined for accurate placement/alignment, this is 3rd attempt of installing metal and still clearly screws not ALL chalk lined. As there are several visible not following a line. We have Puddles of water on inside floor from roof leaking. Ridge vent foam from roof, hanging and falling out. The overhead garage door was installed on a busted board which is what supports it, has screws missing that should have been installed. We are requesting, existing metal removed, replaced with new and installed properly to manufactures protocol. Can provide more photos if needed.
