Contract signed in Oct 2021. Bank loan approved 12/2021 w/ a projected move in of june/july 2022. $235,000. A home. Complete construction of their Balfour model on a full walk-out basement. Home delivered was not the home I signed a contract for. I was unable to break the contract. The bank was submitted the completely wrong floor plans for my loan. Literally from delivery day in April 2022 on, I fought. Placement of septic, central air, gas lines, all in the wrong place. Wrong floor coverings, fireplace was wood not propane, completely wrong floor plan/design in the master bath, it also became multiple issues in workmanship, issues under codes, completely under insulated, broken trusses, improper roof installation/exposed nails, uncapped propane lines, etc. Outside home inspection proved 29 pages of red. The company tried to correct the majority of the inspection report however; so much was deemed 'workmanship issues, not how it should be done, ugly, but functional.' They put a mechanic's lein on my property forcing me to accept the pile of crap that was supposed to be my dream home. Home was finally released Jan 2023, i'm continuing to have nothing but problems. exterior doors still not closing or capable of being locked, damaged screen doors (from their own attorney during inspections), leaking facet drains & facets, chips in countertops, uneven/floor surface (rocks, materials, something creating raised bumps) in literally every room of the home, countertops buckling & peeling up, leaking showers & shower doors, transition strips falling apart, endless drains not draining/holding stagnant water, never fails that it's something new every week.
