I agree 100% with what **** T said!!! Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Spent thousands of dollars on a new chair and it quit working in less than 3 months. Their service department is horrible. Both times they worked on it quit again within an hour. Do not buy anything from this company.Review from Chad T

We bought a manual chair in January. The left brake was faulty and went out in March. My mom entered the hospital and I was told due to insurance they could not fix the chair while she was in the hospital. (Only a few months old, should be under warranty). Mom came home from hospital, they sent a technician out who said she needs a new brake, we have to order it. No idea why a technician sent out to fix a left brake would not already have the parts to fix a left brake. Received messages that they were shipping her the brake, I guess to install herself? Trying to get the technician to come back out and the girl chews me out on the phone and never scheduled anything. Now, she wont answer the phone or return my messages. Bought the chair in January, broke in March, still dangerous and not fixed at the end of July with Rehab Medical employee chewing me out in the phone instead of getting the chair fixed. Do not use this company!!! What if your mom was using a brand new but dangerous wheelchair without a brake?!?Rehab Medical, Inc. Response

Buyer Beware. There could be no company any worse to deal with. First they tried to get me to take a chair that was meant for someone else, then sent another out that I could not get in and out of. Even their tech. said he had never seen one so high. After voicing my opinion they told me they would pick up the chair and I should get one elsewhere. They sent somebody to measure me and still messed it up and act like it's my fault. Now they will not respond to my calls and messages. They have picked up the chair and still have my money. They are in over their heads as far as customer service. ******** should not deal with a company like this. Seniors do not deserve treatment in this manor and something should be done. Anyone can read their reviews and see the major issues and they with never change as long as ******** checks are rolling in. Read their reviews. It's a crying shame seniors have to deal with them. This was a really bad experience. They measured my mother wrong and gave her an interim loaner that they billed as her permanent wheelchair. It did not have any foot rests. When I called, I had to call multiple times to get someone to help me and kept getting the run around. They sent someone out to get her measurements again and they measured wrong again. When they delivered the final wheelchair, it was too short like it was for a child, they did not adjust it for her and it was very uncomfortable for her. This is the worst company. I would never do business with them again! I hate that they got paid by ******** for this.Rehab Medical, Inc. Response

I have had a terrible experience with this company.. They simply do not care about their customers. In the past 10 months, my chair has broke a total of 4 times. This is a lot considering that this is supposed to be a brand new chair, and the industry standard, as I was told by their assistive technology professional. I chose at the recommendation of the assisted technology professional A Q6 edge HD pride, quantum. I am a big guy. and needed a heavy duty chair. My doctor told me that I need to offset pressure. about every hour for 30 seconds. And in doing so, the tilt mechanism broke a lot. The last time my chair broke was in February. And we have medical did not provide me a suitable loaner chair to use. while they have processed fixing my main chair So I was bedridden. For more than 30 days as a result. of that, I caught pneumonia and other respiratory is***s They could have been avoided if they only provided me a power wheelchair as a loner instead of a manual wheelchair that had no support for my particular disability. This company should be put out of business. if you want your loved ones to have the best don't go to this company. the way that they treat their patients, borders on abuse. My son has special needs and required a gait trainer to help support his early walking. Rehab Medical came out to take his measurements, and then we heard nothing from them. I assumed it was because they were making his device, but this was another reminder that you should never just assume. They took his measurements for the trainer in October, and my sons pediatrician didnt receive the paperwork to sign off on the device (the FIRST step in the process) until December, when I reached out to Rehab Medical directly for a progress check. They responded and said that they faxed the paperwork to my sons pediatrician and they hadnt responded. His pediatricians office has provided nothing but amazing care for my son since the day after he was born, so I knew something was off. My sons pediatrician provided me with a copy of when they received and responded to the request, in December. There was nothing sent to them after the October fitting, only in December when I was requesting an update. My son didnt receive his trainer until January, long after he started walking. At this point, its too late for it to truly help my son. Rehab Medical did my son a horrible disservice, and they did absolutely nothing to take ownership of the huge ball that they dropped. My two year olds progress was affected because of this company and their inefficiency to do their job, and I cannot get that time back for my son. My mother received a custom manual wheelchair from rehab medical. An ATP came out did measurements and they delivered the chair. My mom was having back issues and went to physical therapy. The PT found that the arm rests were too high, her feet couldnt touch the floor, back rest not suitable for her.I contacted rehab medical and an ATP came out he changed the back rests, arm rests, lowered the seat and changed the wheels. The foot rests do not work now since the seat was lowered. He told me to just live with the chair as is. We are still not happy with the back rest.The ATP informed me that humana does not have the company in their network anymore. I called rehab medical and they told me to find a "family business" to fix the chair since they will not support the chair anymore. I called some places and they are all telling me to take the chair back to rehab medical.This company does not care about disabled people and customer satisfaction.Rehab Medical, Inc. Response

STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!!! I am paralyzed from the waist down and in need of a new wheelchair. One of my doctors suggested I try Rehab Medical! That has been one of the greatest mistakes I ever made. Purchased a wheelchair from Rehab Medical. They sent a tech out to get the measurements for the chair that I would be using. An order was placed, and it took almost a month before the chair was delivered. When the chair finally came in, it needed to be adjusted 2 on each side because it was rubbing. The same guy who took the initial measurements came back out to do the measurements again and realized that I was given incorrect size. They delivered a 16 instead of 19 wheelchair. I informed him that all I needed was for the chair to be adjusted so that I could use it. He told me he could not do that. Instead of adjusting, they picked the chair back up and told me I would have back in 2 days. 2 weeks later, I still have no chair. I called the sales rep that was to be the point of contact and he told me that he had to have someone form the corporate office to call me to better explain what was going on. Why are you a face-to-face representative with customers and you are unable to explain in detail what is going on? Someone finally called back and told me; they are unable to get me a new chair because I am now out of network with their company because my insurance is now different. I asked for the chair back that I already paid for, and they told me they couldnt do that either because the insurance changed. So now I without a wheelchair and having to start from scratch with trying to find another DME company. Thanks for NOTHING Rehab Medical.Rehab Medical, Inc. Response
