I purchased an 11 foot Christmas tree from Altums on November 17 and arranged for delivery on December 16. I did not hear from them again. When they arrived to deliver the tree on December 16, they had, by their own admission, cut the tree down to 9.5 feet (without asking or obtaining permission) and many branches were broken. At that time they promised that we could obtain a full refund (in the amount of $870.65) and they would come pick up the tree. Although not relevant to the ultimate resolution, the delivery crew was incredibly rude to my senior citizen mother and left her in tears. When I called the store today to obtain the promised refund and arrange for them to pick up the tree I was insulted and told they NOT be issuing the refund despite having failed to deliver the 11 foot tree I purchased on November 17.
