I met with their sales person who said they would be taking my entire bathroom down to the studs, would take out the bathtub and put in a walk in shower, would replace the vanity, floors, mirror, light/exhaust fan, and flooring. Once the contractor for Five Star Bath Solutions came (after I had signed the paperwork) he said that he wasn't sure what his sales person had promised but he would not be replacing the drywall. On the first day of work, I had someone meet the workmen at the house because I had to work. I came home and the new shower was all white (I had told the sales person I wanted marble) and had chrome bath fixtures. I called Daniel, the contractor, and he did replace the fixtures. Then they came back to install the flooring. They put the flooring in wrong, didn't seal around the shower, and didn't add baseboards and didn't replace the exhaust fan. I again called Daniel and he sent the workers back. I was not able to be there again and didn't see how they did the work. I found out from another company that is working on other floors that instead of pulling up the flooring from the first time, they just laid it on top of it and because it then wouldn't click into place, they siliconed it together. Also, the silicone they put around the shower and baseboards is uneven, looks like a two year old did it and their flooring mistake has already cost me an additional $400 to get more flooring and pay for the second day of install.Initial Complaint

Five Star Bath solutions franchise came and replaced our master bath shower. Now a year later the shower is leaking. The business promotes a lifetime guarantee. I contacted the company and and appointment was set for October 28, 2022. -now one showed up. After many phone calls a new appointment was set for October 31. A representative from the company came to our house and noted we required a new shower pan. We were told parts were to be ordered. No word. I called on November 11th and was told parts were two more weeks out. I have not heard from the company since. My wife or I have called several times per week for the past 30 days. I called the parent company and filed a complaint, i was told there is not oversite and I am to work with the franchise.Initial Complaint

February 28, 2022 salesperson ,******** came to my residence and estimated shower and flooring for my bathroom for $8,500. We discussed specific flooring that would not be tile pieces. She assured us that wasn’t a problem. We agreed and gave her $2,500.00 and a promise of an install early May. Next, ****** came to verify measurements. She was supposed to bring floor samples, but didn’t seem to know we were doing the floor. I contacted ********, and she assured me that if they didn’t have what we wanted, they’d use a product that we found at Weber flooring. In April I attempted by email and text to see if we were scheduled. Only response was that my email was forwarded to production. On Tuesday, May 3,2022, I was called at 10:30 am by ****** who said they’d be out in an hour. When I asked her about my flooring, she told me that ****** was out of stock on this. I then called ******, and they said they had what we needed. So I called back for an explanation and ****** admitted that they don’t do this kind of flooring. ****** had already quoted $1,000. For product and install, so I asked them to take that amount off. They debated and I canceled and requested a refund. They kept $450.00 as a restocking fee, and for the lost appointment. We had nothing unusual for them to restock and an hours notice for an appointment is unacceptable. I have received $2,050 back, and since I have invested $450.00 for nothing, I will tell my story of how this company did not keep promises or follow through on the job. ****** ********** is the owner and despite all of their shortfalls felt that we should let them do the job. Also, found out that instead of 2-3 days the job could take a week or more.
