My house is 84 years old, with that said ***** identified the damages of dry rotted wood behind the windows yet he proceeded with trying to rewrap and cover up the rotted wood after explaining the reasons for messing with the windows in the first place was to repair any known damages. When I addressed these issues ***** got upset, packed up all his equipment and left the remaining windows undone with a few he and **** loosened during they're inspection process. Either complete the job with supervision or restore my two windows back to their original. The security bars were also something ****, *****, and ***** had discussed over and over again, ***** purchased specific tools to remove the security bars which by the way were improperly reinstalled and stripping the already aged wood underneath. Moving from I have an incomplete picture window in my front room missing unmatched colored trim along the base of the window, I have scratches all over 3 massage chairs in my living room from installing a much bigger window, having to demo a larger hole in my living room wall, I have interior damage around the fireplace that was never addressed, one of the smaller windows in the picture window ***** replaced doesn't even have the latch lock on it so it doesn't lock. And I have three windows on my house with a golden bronze color I was told I could have by ***** who brought the color swatches and allowed me to select whatever color I wanted, all JG contractors had to do was submit photos of the rotted wood to my insurance for supplemental payments for the correct repairs instead they're employee tried to deliberately cover up the old fragile wood and lie about it! Lastly I have a contractual agreement that says JG Contractors will not receive final compensation until ALL work has been completed! But...they tried to cover it up! I am appalled, they did an amazing job on my roof but that was under the strictest observation but my windows and interior damage they dropped the ballBusiness response

Hi *******,
We are sorry you aren’t 100% satisfied with the project and we hate to hear that. As previously discussed, we simply cannot complete structural repairs that have been discovered during other construction. We brought that to your attention because we felt it was necessary. As previously discussed, we did not offer or agree to those repairs as part of a window wrap job. Please understand when we charge only a few hundred dollars for a window wrap we cannot afford to remove the sheetrock, remove wiring, remove load bearing structure, replace load bearing structure, reinstall wiring, reinstall sheetrock and new paint.
Furthermore, we do have the text messages where you asked us to continue completing the window warps after we informed you of the wood rot. Please keep in mind we started after you asked us to continue but then brought it back to your attention and stopped when we found much worse wood rot damages. We had noted the security bars might cause issues when being reinstalled over the new wrap metal, to which you acknowledged and said to proceed. We initially picked up the tools we had on the property to work on another job while we had to pause and figure out the next steps on your project, this was not done out of spite or anger. When we installed the picture window, ***** did repair the sheetrock. The day we collected our tools, you told us not to return. With that being said, we have the window trim and latch. We would be happy to drop those off to your property for you to install. ***** takes pride in his work and made sure the massage chairs were moved out of the way and protected during the window install.
We are thrilled you love the new roof! Your roof looks amazing with the colors you choose and the install with shingles and metal. We are sorry you aren’t happy with the final direction of the project. As a company we strive for trust and build accountability by staying customer focused through innovation and simplicity which allows us to stay agile when projects change. Unfortunately, this project was not up to your standards and we apologize for this.
