November 10, 2022 we paid half of our invoice to start the process of getting our kitchen granite cut. We set an appointment for December 12th at 930. We were told to pick out where we wanted the kitchen island on the slab of granite. Jeng marked it with masking tape. And everything from this point on has not been what we were promised or expected when paying ********** dollars. The kitchen island was not cut the way we wanted it. The appointment time of 930 on the 12th came and went they didnt show up until after 2pm that day. I was concerned why they didnt show up so at noon my husband and I drove over to the business and Dave (the owner. )Stated he had a bunch of people out sick and kinda shrugged his shoulders and asked what we wanted him to do about it. I asked why we didnt get a phone call as I had taken the day off work to be home. (a phone call goes a long ways and during this entire process this business doesnt respond to or even use the phone to verify showing up. they just show up. So on initial install the small piece to the left of the stove did not have rounded corner that was put in request when Jeng was out to do the digitial map of our kitchen. When I called to discuss they took the granite piece with them to round corner. I sent a message December 14th at 10:15 so see when they would be bringing the piece to install. Jeng said "we can go late afternoon - Is it convenient? I told her yes my husband was home. Jeng said at 10:22 "will cal or text before we go thanks" at 6:37 i got another text "my guys just back my store we are not available to go today" 6:38 "Sorry, we go tomorrow morning" Thursday December 15th 7:11am i got a text "good morning, my guy will go between 8:30-9:00" Mid-American guys did not show up until almost 11 am (again no phone call) When i got home from work that day at 3 I noticed the piece they brought out had a crack that went down the middle of the granite so I text at 4:52 to let them know. Jeng ask "or if you can take pictures text me first" So we text a couple of pictures but still was hard to see crack. At that time I told them that the left side of the stove granite didnt match the right side like it was cut from the light side of the granite and not the patterened. Jeng told me it come one slab. I told her to come see what I was talking about 1. it was cracked 2. it was from a different end of the granite then what the stove was cut from and it looked dumb. Jeng came out to the house to take pictures and see the crack for herself also showed her that the brand new kitchen sink was not installed correctly in the hole that was cut. She said she would have her guys fix it - They came out installed the new piece of granite to the left of the stove and reinstalled the kitchen sink but they destroyed the custom cabinet and ruined the left lip of the kitchen sink when they took their cutting tool to move the sink, chipped the granite on left side of sink and got silicone all over the inside of the sink and when i called to discuss January 10th at 1:43 Jeng told me she talk to her guys to see what happened and get back to me. I have heard nothing! Our custom ******* cabinet $********, kitchen sink $***
