I serve as power of attorney for my grandmother ****** ****. Home Instead Senior Care, which has now been sold or transitioned to We Care Senior Care was on contract to help my grandmother in her home from March 7 to June 7. After my grandmother's 30 day waiting period for long-term care insurance expired the business committed to filing the insurance claim directly (this was a benefit to going with them). After multiple follow ups I contacted the insurance company directly in late May, but they said they had not received the correct information from Home Instead. They needed the activity logs from the visits and a copy of the business license. There were several calls back and forth in June and on July 6th I asked for the records to be delivered to me directly so that I could send them to the insurance company, eliminating the back and forth. I still have not received the license or activity logs. Moreover, there was a two week contract cutoff during which my grandmother could have service or not. I told them to be there, but they did not show up, yet charged her $94.Customer response
