On 8/15/23, I came home to smoke detectors going off. The emergency property management number did not answer nor call back until several hours passed. The fire department had to come and found water coming through the smoke detector in the ceiling. On 8/16- maintenance came and located poor insulation in the AC closet and mold. 8/17- some insulation was added and mold was cleaned with a toilet brush and I was told maintenance would return to paint the molded area with a mold killing paint. As of 8/17- property maintenance has not been back on site. On 8/25- the smoke detector went off again because water was still coming through the ceiling and more water was coming back through the ceiling in the closet. I opened another maintenance request and reached out to management immediately. I expressed concerned for my safety and asked to be relocated to an equivalent apartment. I was told (all in emails that they would get back with me). ****** HVAC technician was sent out to check my AC unit. Freon was added but nothing was addressed about the smoke detector and water. I reached out again and then at least 5x more times asking to be transferred if the problem could not be fixed. ****** HVAC come out and cut a whole out of the drywall and located more mold and "excessive water/sweating). I was told most likely the entire ceiling in the bedroom would need to be cut out and the technician would speak with his boss. More than a week passed without any outreach. I reached out again pleading this to be addressed. Over a week later, the owner of ****** HVAC was sent to look at the property again. He explained that the ceiling would need to be taken down and it would not be possible to live here in the repairs but he would speak with the office and they would be in touch immediately. This has been over a week ago, I have had absolutely ZERO follow-up and the issue remains and I'm told to keep the smoke detector down. I do not feel safe and I am being presented with no option
