Despite clear instructions & respectful communication, there has been blatant disregard for my requests and property, causing significant distress and damage. Background: After storm damage in the summer of '23, I reached out to Madewell and was approved to have my roof replaced. I signed a contract in 7/24 to have the work done. 1. Ignoring Instructions: I informed the production manager, that the deck and retaining wall by the driveway and garage were in poor condition and should not be used. Despite this, the crew used both areas. 2. Disruptions During Work: On 7/28/24, the site supervisor, disrupted my patient session despite knowing I was working. 3. Unauthorized Use of Neighbor's Property: Equipment and a dumpster were placed in my neighbor’s yard without permission, causing tire prints. They falsely claimed they had spoken with my neighbors. 4. Lack of Communication: The site supervisor informed me that more decking needed replacing and they might not finish on 7/28. After that, I received no updates, and they left without informing me when they would return. 5. Landscape Damage: The contract states landscaping will be protected. Five hostas, two hydrangeas, and four trees were damaged. The crew backed into a tree, trampled plants, left materials in flowerbeds and on plants. A landscaper assessed the damage, at $975. 6. Damage to Property: The crew put 19 nail holes through the bathroom wall while installing siding. Repairs to the bathroom wall cost $400. 7. Lack of Resolution: Two reps from Madewell inspected the damage on 7/1 and assured me unprepared storm damaged gutters would be replaced. I later learned nothing had been submitted to insurance. They messaged on 7/11, stating they'd like to pass on doing the gutters. I asked work be completed & have been ignored since. Madewell called the adjuster who asked for permission to speak with them. I've asked for everything to be done in writing cc'ing me but no communication has occurred as of 7/29.Business response

Good Afternoon,
I am the owner of MadeWell Restoration. Upon receiving the notice of complaint, we promptly scheduled a meeting with **** on Tuesday 7/30. We were able to have a very productive meeting in which both parties were satisfied. MadeWell has paid in full for all damages expressed in the complaint and are working with the insurance carrier to release additional funds to quickly finish this project. **** ******* is very pleased with the product of our work and is willing to agree that we have taken care of the issues she previously had.
