      Ordered an above ground pool months ago and contracted with the person they recommended to install. Installer showed up but no pool. Had to reschedule the install and was told pool would be delivered that day. Well, it wasn’t and when we try to call the next day, the phone just rings and rings. Went with a local company to try to support local businesses.

      Neither the purchaser of the pool or the installer that the purchaser contracted with to do the installation contacted Lipps Pools with a requested delivery date. At least one weeks notification is required for any and all deliveries. Lipps was not contacted until the actual day the purchaser and their installer had planned to install the pool. Once Lipps was notified, the pool was able to be delivered within 3 days during the busiest time of the pool season. This was a failure by the purchaser and/or their installer to provide adequate notification, not a failure by Lipps to respond.

      In February of 2021 we ordered a replacement liner from Lipps Pool & Spa and made a 50% down payment. The liner arrived & was installed in August of 2021 just a couple weeks before the end of the pool season when it was closed. The pool was opened May 8th & 9th of 2022. A couple of days after having the pool opened, a couple of spots appeared where the liner slipped out of its retaining edge. Lipps Pool was immediately contacted for service to have the liner re-tucked at these points. We were informed there would be a fee for the service call as the warranty for this occurring was only 30 days. On Monday, May 16th, at their request, I emailed pictures of the areas needing attention. On May 20th, a service call was requested via voice message and a return call received on May 21st where an appointment was made for a service call of June 13th. Before noon on the 13th of June, after not being called of their arrival time I contacted them, again via ********** ****** returned my call over an hour later. Checking their service schedule, they could not find where I had an appointment for service. I have called twice since, leaving voice messages, and have not heard from them since. For the price paid of a new liner, I expect a return call and expect a service a call covered under what is a joke of a 30 day warranty for the extended circumstances of the situation for this issue.

      This is self explanatory. When This customer read and signed his proposal for a liner replacement, back in 2021, it clearly states on his proposal that liners coming out of track is covered for period of 30 days. He called us 9 months later, well beyond the 30 day warranty period. It was explained to him on that first contact that the warranty period had long passed and there would be a service charge for us to come out and tuck his liner in track. He did not feel he should have to pay and therefore was not scheduled for service. at our request he emailed pictures. we looked at the pictures and it was explained to him that this was a homeowner maintenance issue and was something he could easily do. He did not want to do it himself and again did not feel he should have to pay. He again requested a service call, the warranty was re explained as well as the service charge. He again did not want to pay and therefore was never placed on our schedule. If ************************ felt the warranty was a "joke", why did he sign and agree to the terms that were fully explained to him. These are the same terms that apply to all liner replacements we do. We fully back our warranties as they are written. This is simply a case of ************************ trying to make it sound like he is entitled to more than our other customers. Ironically ************************ did send us an email stating that he and his neighbor were able to put it back in track as we had previously suggested.
