On 2/9/2024, I returned my rental car under rental car agreement number ********** I returned the car at 4:51 pm. I never received a receipt as proof of my return. I was told by the rental car represenative at the Blue grass lexington airport location that i would receive a rental car receipt that day or within 48 hours. I never received a receipt and noticed that my credit card was charges multiple times in the amounts of: 2/13/2024 $965.53 2/13/2024 $765.53 2/13/2024 965.53 2/13/2024 $2,308.32 2/13/2024 $ 2,308.32 2/13/2024 $875.17 I went to the airport after calling customer service several times. I was told that my car was not returned for the date of 2/9/2024 instead I was told verbally by a represenative at customer service that the charges were from 2/1/2024-2/13/2024. I explained that I had proof that I returned the car to the airport location on 2/9/2024 at 4:51 pm. I was advised to provide proof of a photo in which I had verifying the gas mileage and time stamp of when I returned the car. I did this. I provided twice a pictureof the odometer and filled gas mileage to the follwoing email address ************************************ the service inquiry number is : ******** I was told that I would be refunded 7-10 days. I explained that I needed a receipt to provide to my job. I asked if the call could be escalated to a Manager or Supervisor. i was told that I have to wait 48 hours in order to speak with a represenative. This is absurd. So I went to the airport location in person to speak w/ a represenative. i was able to obtain a receipt for the remaining charges from 2/1/2024-2/9/2024. The rep told me she had to charge my card again and the final amount would be $765.53. I reviewed my credit card statement and noticed that I was charged multiple times again. This business is a rip off and I would like for my bill to be corrected and I would like to speak with someone at Avis headquarters.
