During mid 2021, my husband and I accessed physical therapy services through Benchmark Physical Therapy. Service was amazing. We were told our insurance covered their services and only paid a copay at our numerous visits. I received an extremely high bill after I was released from treatment and thankfully was in a position to pay it despite my questions. A year later, we received a collections notice on my husband’s outstanding balance with them. We never received a bill. We never received any written communication or a call regarding a bill. While looking into this, it appears that NONE of the services were “covered” despite being told they were. In reviewing our coverage plan, their services should have been covered. I’m working that out with insurance. However, it is mind boggling that we were not advised during treatment that our appointments were not covered so we could determine if we could continue treatment or not. It is furthermore concerning that we NEVER received a bill or any other communication for my husband’s balance and it was sent to collections a year later.Business response

At BenchMark Physical Therapy, our goal is to provide exceptional experiences. We regret if we fell short for this consumer.
