      Bluegrass Collision has fixed our car twice from 2 different accidents. Both times they did a quality job. They were quick at getting the job done the second time which was a smaller repair than the first time. The first time was fairly major and they did a nice job at repairing the car. We have been driving it for a couple years now with no problems.

      If I could give "0" stars, I would. I hit a deer in my husband's truck and, after calling around, Bluegrass Collision told us they could get the truck repaired the quickest. It took 4 weeks to get the parts for the front end damage, which I understand. When we went to pick up the truck, we were told an additional $4000 was due (over the estimate given to the insurance) and they would not release the truck until it was paid. Fortunately, my insurance company took care of it but we were not told about the additional charges until we drove to the shop. My husband drove the truck home and it sat for three days. When he next drove the truck, it immediately overheated. He pulled over and found there was no coolant in the radiator. I drove to a gas station and bought coolant. We put it in the truck and started it. The radiator fan did not come on and the coolant was immediately blown out of the reservoir cap, which did not fit properly and had been replaced while at this shop. My husband called Terry at Bluegrass Collision and was told that it was not his concern because the truck had been fine when driven home. We have owned the truck for a year and have had no mechanical issues with it. The new parts are also a noticeably lighter color than the rest of the truck. I am hoping that my insurance company will help us since Bluegrass Collision will not. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

      After posting this negative review, the shop owner contacted me and offered to make everything right! I cannot say enough about how happy I am with their efforts to get this resolved! They fixed the radiator problem, they blended the paint so it matched better, they reimbursed me for the extra rental car charges I incurred and they apologized profusely! After this experience, I would definitely recommend Bluegrass Collision and would do business with them again myself. I am very happy with this resolution and feel these business owners value their reputation and did what it took to resolve this. Can't thank them enough.

      I want to start off by saying that my experience was during a Pandemic. Our collision repair took four months with the first month fighting the at fault’s insurance company. Through this experience with Bluegrass Collisions I have three issues. First, communication was nearly nonexistent without me calling them. I feel that a company should update the customer, especially when it is a four month process. Second, parts were ordered very sporadically. I understood the long wait times due to the pandemic, but every time I reached out (weekly) they had to order another part. This parts ordering method made this process take forever. Lastly, I had to return my vehicle to have them redo a good sized list of unacceptable issues. When you are told your car is finished after three months you expect it to be done. Instead, we had to take the car back to be worked on for another month. The handles had newly chipped paint (not from the wreck), the back handle was not attached, all of the interior trim work was loose, the window buttons were loose, and there was wind noise from missing parts on the door. When we finally got the second call that it was ready, the handles’ chipped paint was simply sanded rather than redone. I will not be dealing with this company any further. After many months, I am ready to move on. I highly recommend another company if you have a **. I feel that their knowledge of these vehicles was not enough to get the job done correctly.
