The Ken Buehner and son company installed my heating and air system in February 2021. I began having issues last summer 2023. They came out for a service call in June 2023 and stated the system only needed a cleaning and charged me $145. This did not resolve the issue so I called them again and they came out for a service call in August 2023. Again they said the system only needed cleaning and they charged me $145. The air conditioner was still not getting cold and the humidity was very high in my house. Then the weather turned cooler so I didn't call them back but my winter heating bills were much higher. When the weather turned warm again this spring I called them back again . They came back and cleaned the outside unit again and again charged me $145. I was getting frustrated so I called another company and they discovered that the compressor was not working. The system is only 3 years old. The compressor should last at least 10 years. Also if the Buehner Company had properly diagnosed the problem the first time I called in 2023 I would not have had such high heating bills in the winter. So now I have to pay $1700 to get the compressor replaced on a system that is only 3 years old. I believe a heating and air professional should be able to tell if a compressor is working or not the first time you call them for service, or at least the second or third time. I feel Buehner Heating and Air should be responsible for paying for the compressor to be replaced, but at the very least the 3 charges of $145 that they billed me for cleaning and did not tell me my compressor was bad should be reimbursed to me. I paid them $5860 to install the system in 2021 and now I have to pay someone else $1700 to fix it. I would not allow Buehner to do any of the replacement as I have learned that they can't tell when a compressor is not working.Business response
