I switched auto insurance agents and provides. I signed a cancellation form on 3/5/2022. The insurance premium was still debited from my account. Understandably sure to the cancellation being so close to the schedule auto debit payment. Nothing was said about a refund. I reached out and finally received an email 3/16/2022 saying I’d received a refund within 7-14 business days. I received nothing. I have called and emailed MULTIPLE times with zero response. Are they still In business? Why have I not received a response email or returned phone call?? Why no refund?Business response

Hello-
Our client, ***** *******, requested to cancel her home insurance policy. We cancelled the policy and the mailing address for Ms. ******* was incorrect and it took a couple of weeks to get the returned mail. We received the check from ****** **** ********* on Monday 4/18/22. We immediately called Ms. ******* and emailed her stating we received her check since the mailing address returned the check to us. She retuned our call on Wednesday, 4/20/22, and provided a new mailing address to send the refund of $178. We mailed the check to her on 4/20/22 to the new address. The delay in getting her refund was due to the mailing address changing and it taking time to have the check rerouted back to her.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
