      We do not recommend Kyle’s Pool Service. Kyle had been a reliable service provider for 3 years but things started to go very wrong in the Spring of this year when we asked him to open our pool and install the hot water heater we had replaced for an early Spring guest. Upon opening the pool he alerted me that the pool liner had somehow split since he serviced it just 2 months earlier and the pool was now drained. He indicated the liner could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. We paid him in full for the liner. 5 months later we still didn’t have one after the first one was “lost in shipment” and the replacement was found with “several cuts through the box and liner” after he termed an employee. Communication was terrible all along the way and we had to resort to escalations to get any response at all. He eventually took all of our return and floor vacuum system trim rings to refinish them to “save us money”. We eventually advised him we needed a full refund for our liner and asked to have the trim rings returned. We ultimately disputed our credit card and got the refund. We found a new installer who is ready to install our liner (really only took 10 days once measurements were confirmed), but we cannot because we cannot get him to return our trim rings despite several attempts at communication and two promises from him to return them the same day but to no avail. He simply now will not respond. This entire ordeal Will cost me $1k more than he quoted and we’ve lost an entire summer with my college aged kids and other family members with our pool. As I said we liked Kyle (and even defended him with other posters) but I would now advise you to steer clear. We would like to receive a payment for the cost of our replacement trim rings of $500
