My son went in to get a quote on car repairs. They had him put a $500 deposit down. Once I found about, I called to cancel, it all happened in about an hours time frame. The manager was extremely rude but finally agreed to refund the money. Nothing was ever purchased and no service was done. I called my credit card to file a dispute, just in case. Meineke is now sticking by the charge.Business response

Hello, my name is ****** the store manager. I do recall this transaction and after speaking with the customer I voided the transaction right away. We were contacted by our credit card company on june 14th about the dispute. We sent in all information to the credit card company showing where we voided the transaction. The credit card company is now giving the customer 45 days to respond to them with proof showing where it was not voided. Please have them look for the mail about this. We want to resolve this issue with the customer but as of know it is the hands of the customer and credit card company. Thanks.
