A $1000 deposit for 2 Westie puppies was sent to Rose Carpenter on April 15th, 2021. She has been a member with AKC Marketplace Westie Club per AKC detailed info. We decided against working with Rose and requested a refund as she said there would be one available if needed. This refund request was submitted September 29th. She said the refund check would be in the mail Monday Oct 47th, 2021. I have yet to get it and now she isn’t returning any of my communications with her. I hope you can help me with this situation. I have learned of additional complaints made against her and there are many with the BBB and others online, all of which have to do with problems related to refunding. In some instances, it has taken over a year. Her website now says that she is closed permanently, which would mean that she took my money knowing she was going to close her business. I would appreciate any help you could give me. Thank you.
