We were a client of GBS for 15+ years. In 2023 we decided to part ways with them. Our contract ended 7/1 outside of a couple items that were set to end on 8/1 of 2023. I believe that sometime in the month of July, our contact (sales representative) left GBS as well which may have affected some communications although everything about our departure was clear and acknowledged. GBS has continued to invoice us for various items, and this continues to this date. I have attempted many phone calls and emails to rectify the situation but, at this point, there is no response. Just the continued delivery of new invoices and past due notices. This is all on top of very poor performance and suspect billing practices which is what led to our initial decision to part ways.Business response

The Client asked to terminate its services with my Global Business Solutions (GBS), In September 2023
We stopped billing the client for services rendered by GBS as of the date of termination, but had an annual contract with Microsoft that expires December 23, 2023.
We invoiced the client for the remaining part of their contract with Microsoft. I do not think the client understands the commitment they signed with Microsoft.
The charges are correct and the client owes the outstanding balances.

Again, the client is complaining for charges that are directly related to the Microsoft Office 365 subscription that expired on 12/27/2023.
Canceling the GBS Managed services contract, does not release the client responsibility to his commitment to the annual Microsoft Contract.
I am willing to absorb the cost of the last 3 months of the year, if he pays the outstanding invoice for the month of August 2023.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ** ********* and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.Per documentation already provided, all steps were taken to end our service as directed by our Global Business representative. This included our managed services agreement and 365 licensing as of 6/30/23 and AWS and domain as of 7/31/23.
All billing for 8/23 forward is not valid and will not be paid.
For the record, active Global Business Microsoft licenses STILL remain (1/24/24) on our account despite my repeated requests for them to be removed. I never signed an agreement for these licenses and, per Global Business depiction, they should no longer remain valid regardless. Various models exist for Microsoft licensing through their vendors and I do not believe that Global Business is accurately portraying the model they used for our account. I believe that Global Business maintains the licensing agreement and deploys these licenses to their customers which is why the licenses continue to remain active beyond our supposed "contract"...which again there is no record of having been signed by GBC Fundraising.
We do not bear financial responsibility for the procedural deficiencies and shortcomings of Global Business.

This company has been calling me relentlessly. When I don't answer, they call multiple times in a row while I'm working. I have answered a couple times to ask to be taken off their call list and they do NOT listen. I work in Marketing so I understand cold calling. I lead a team who does this themselves. But when people ask to be removed from a list, you are supposed to remove them per GDPR policy. This time, they called me from a UK number! It's always a different phone number. This is a response to the concern submitted by **** ************ on 08/21/2023 ID#********.
My Company Global Business Solutions, Inc. has only one location in Newport, KY. We do not do any cold calling, and we never called this person. She either has the wrong Global Business Solutions, Inc. as there are multiple companies with the same name in the US and Globally. In addition, we are only B2B and do not call individuals.
I am sure the person filing the concern must be is getting SPAM calls from a spoofed number.
We do not do business in the UK nor we have any UK numbers.
Please verify what number she is getting the calls from.
The only outgoing phone number we use is: ###-###-####.See attached letter.
