I contacted Rivers Edge to do some yard work for me which included making a spillway and putting drains in to detour water from my house. Brad called me in January to come and do the work, I questioned him about the weather(I didn’t think it would be a good time to do it) he assured me there would not be a problem. He came and did the work when I wasn’t at home and when I got home it was a joke, we had a lot of rain and my yard looked like a river! He had installed some underground pop ups contacted to drainage around the house that when the drain pipes got full they would pop up and send water to the spill way. I called Brad and told him I was dissatisfied with his work and wasn’t go into pay rest of money till it was fixed (the total bill was &13,000 dollars and I gave him $5000 deposit). He came back out and and did some more work but still not done right, I advised him was going to have another company come out and look at it. The other company gave me an estimate of $5000 to correct the problem. In the meantime I am getting collection letters from a collection company. I dealt with this for approximately 8 months and finally just paid the bill (which he charged me for the collection agency sending the letters) If I had been a rich man and younger I would have fought this until the end There are more bad reviews on this site so be sure to read them all and consider very seriously shouting using them!!!!

These people are a joke- We first started talking via-email I like everything in writing so I do not get ripped off. We had a set agreed amount. They came out two times and did an awful job. They only cut half the property never edged and left a mess out by my pool. Residents complained in writing about how rude and unprofessional they were. They blew grass on all the residents cars and patios. I have camera footage to prove the lack of skills they have. After I called them to discuss the extremely poor work that was preformed and how this is NOT what we discussed in the emails- They became hateful and rude and told me all there employees have quit and they will not have a business for much longer and was unable to come out and fix the mess they made. I informed them we look pretty trashy when only half the property is cut. About a month later we received an invoice for way over the agreed upon amount- That is in writing in the emails. We are not willing to pay them for the full month as they only cut twice and did a horrible job! They didn't even have the decency to come fix their mistakes. Needless to say we are not paying it! We only paying the agreed amount. Needless to say we thought they were so unprofessional. And would like to warn all people wanting to use this company. After they left us with a half cut property and grass everywhere and refused to come back out- We called around we found a new landscaper to come out and fix there horrible mess. Diamond in the Rough is who we got. They are who you want if you like a clean cut and a professional team. If they make a mistake they come right out with smiles and fix it. They don't just leave a mess. I believe all I can say is your work speaks volumes and I can see why you are under staffed and about to go out of business! You can't keep staff members and you can't make your customers happy- I call this a rip off! SMH
