Home shield contacted them to fix my AC Blower. It was believed to be a bearing. 4 trips and 1.5 months the problem is worse. The last tech said it was fixed. It is not fixed as unit can not be used.

The complaint was noise from the blower housing/motor while running. This is an older belt driven system. We did ask the homeowner's warranty company to replace the belt, motor and bearings in hope that this would stop the noise. Unfortunately, there is still noise while running. We have contacted the warranty company again on this claim to inform them the noise is unbearable, and the older belt driven AHU will need to be replaced. In order to make this replacement there will need to be some modifications made to the area of the home where this AHU is located. The homeowner will have to discuss these options and coverage with their home warranty provider as this is an insurance claim in which the home warranty company will be processing.
