This past Thursday around 7:45am I arrived at Yabbos for a loaded tea. The worker greeted me professionally and advised me to pull in the parking lot, that it would be a few minutes to fix my drink. I waited until 8:10am and drove back into the drive through. There were no workers visible. I proceed to call the location twice. During the second call a male answered the phone while the young lady came out the other side of the building. By then, I was upset because I waited too long to get the drink and was late for work. The male told me that I was rude and had an attitude. Instead of trying to fix the issue he displayed poor customer service. The young lady asked the male how to fix the drink while in front of me. Which lead me to believe she wasn’t trained on how to properly make the drink. I ended up canceling my order. However, I called to file a complaint on Friday on both employees and was unpleasantly greeted by the gentleman who displayed poor customer service. I asked to speak to the owner and was told to locate him on Facebook for complaint. I’ve sent the owner a message on Facebook requesting a call back and have yet to hear from anyone. The staff needs to be retrained on how to display proper customer service and communicate with customers more effectively. I didnt wish to sit almost 20 minutes waiting on a drink to be made. I understand circumstances arise however this should not have happened. I would also like to highlight that i have not seen any African American people hired at this establishment which makes me feel like they have a problem servicing black people.Business response

Good afternoon, I am the General Manager for Yabbos and I will be happy to tell you what actually transpired. First and foremost, she is lying in her statement about being late for work. She got upset and raised her voice at me stating " I can't be late for jury duty because the judge is gonna have my ***". Her lack of preparation that morning does not constitute an emergency for us. We gave her service as quickly as possible just like any other customer.
Secondly, as she was waiting for her drink parked in our drive thru she called our store phone. I politely answered not knowing who it was and she rudely exclaims " where's my drink what the hell is taking so long" Realizing that it is the person in the drive thru I'm speaking to I stepped out and engaged in conversation. I asked her what the issue was and she mentioned that the girl was taking forever to make her drink . I apologized and told her she was busy and stated to her that she didnt need to be rude we were servicing customers as quickly as possible. Her reply was " I have to get to court I dont have time to wait"
She then called later that day demanding I give her the owners phone number which I do not do. She was very rude and hostile toward my employee that morning and also during my interaction with her
and lasty the comment about not wanting to service black people.... My assistant manager is an African American female. I have also employed bartenders, kitchen staff and waitresses that are African American. I suggest Ms. *********** do some research on my establishment before throwing out racist comments about a place she doesn't even know about.

I am rejecting this response because: I would like the cameras to be reviewed regarding this incident. I’m not going to go back and forth. As I stated before it shouldnt take 20 minutes to make a drink.
