      In November I bought a piece of furniture from Rustic House-*********. At the time of purchase, I noticed one of the hinges was not functioning correctly. The salesman, who actually said he was the owner placed an orange sticky note on one of the doors and assured me it would be repaired prior to delivery it was an easy common fix. I was buying a color that was discontinued and it was the last floor model. I was contacted a few days later and given an early December delivery date. When the furniture was delivered, the driver noticed a piece of the wood broken and before offloading wanted to make us aware. I made arrangements to have someone there while I was at work. We rejected the furniture and asked for something not broken or pieced together. I was contacted by their office and they told me they would have to order me a new piece and it would be a few weeks. I told them that was fine which they replied the color I purchased was no longer available and asked if I would accept another color which I had no problem with. After a few weeks I called for an update they said it would be after the holidays as their truck was delayed arriving. Fast forward to now almost the end of January I finally receive a date for my new piece. I get a call they are ahead of schedule so I had my mom meet them there while I rushed home from work. Once again the furniture was broken and the exact same they delivered to me before. We even found the original orange sticky note. The delivery guys tried to repair it best they could and said they would report it. I was in contact with the office and they offered to have someone out on the following Monday with something new but I was not missing work again. That Monday I get a call they are almost to my house which I never agreed too. I was apologized to and exchanged text back and forth with the office. Last communication from them was on January 27th where I was told they were working on it I called in ***************** still no return call

      Ordered a kitchen dining set last July. The owner ***** said just put down a small deposit it will be in 4wks **** 8 weeks went by they said wasnt in yet. We went to the store to see what happened and the owner said it was never coming it had to be ordered. Argued with me and said it had to be an order because I paid in full for it. I said I paid in full just because I could but you only asked for a deposit???? He then decided to tell a story about this plant in ****** had issues and it was so bad he bought his own plant in ****** to get better supply. Sounded like bs but I just wanted my furniture I ordered. He even offered to give us a total of 40% additional off and we just needed to call his office . We called the office for 4 days get a woman on the phone who later I learned was his wife who argued that said thats impossible and he would never say that and we will just do 35% off?? Again we just wanted our furniture. Fast forward to Dec and guess what no furniture no communication. My wife goes in and asked for a refund. They said no problem and contact the office. We did and she said you will have your check in a couple days. Its now 6 weeks later and I ended up with no furniture and I still dont have my money. I want my money in full plus interest since they have kept it for their own use. $2000 total paid asap to me.

      We would like to cancel this complaint. The company has returned our money. So we are satisfied.
