This is my second complaint filed for this same problem. This CU put a -19 on my account and then had the nerve to report me to collections! my credit score is 823! This company NEVER attempted to contact me in any way concerning this unjust matter. I have lived at the same address, same phone, email for 30 yrs,, nothing from them at all. How does a company operate in this manner,, no respect at all for a member.. I want an answer of what the $19 charge is for and why wasnt i contacted via any means before you graciously reported me to collectionsBusiness response

Hello,
I have no issue with the verbiage used or the desired resolution in the BBB Complaint ID: 21399712, however there has been a NCUA compliant filed for the same issue. The credit union will be responding to the NCUA complaint.

I am rejecting this response because: Still no answers or resolution, show me were I ever owed you a dime and explain to me why you would report me to the credit bureau for an phantom $18 due, No attempt ever made to contact me in any manner ( same info/address for 35 yrs) , but yet you reported me to the Bureau for every month for over a year? Please explain yourself. You will answer the NCUA complaint bc you have to, not bc you want to.I fave you every opportunity to handle this like a good business would, I guess I don't matter??

On June 25,2023 $480.82 was taken out of an account that was set up after my own account. I opened an account up for my son which was a minor at the time nothing was joint over my account into his account! Jefferson credit union decided to change our accounts and conjoined them without our knowledge and put the account that’s a minor account a primary account over my account that was already Opened and put his funds into my account for a negative balance! This is fraud no bank teller has the right to go into no customers account without neither account holders knowledge!Business response

Dear Member,
In regard to Complaint #20219992, on 06/14/23 JFFCU transferred funds from account# xxx954 to account# xxx131 in the amount of 480.82. JFFCU has the right to offset as you are equal owners on both accounts. JFFCU did not change any ownership of the account without your knowledge. There is an in-person signed account card from 12/1/2021 designating you as joint owner with equal ownership on the account ending in 954 in which the funds were withdrawn to offset. The credit union has decided not to perform the desired settlement requested.
